I know that's why I left off The Firing Squad and the NJPW NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Championships.

Noid, I feel like u "don't know what you are talking about".
It would not randomly sell out "just because it isn't WWE"....New Japan has been red hot for a lot of hardcore fans for over a year and a half now. If IMPACT booked MSG it wouldn't have sold out, same for ROH alone. New Japan has a different type of prestige to it those two feds don't and haven't had. |

If New Japan had booked MSG on their own they wouldn't have sold out. They couldn't sell out that venue in California. There's buzz about other big shows that aren't WWE at the moment, because everyone is disenchanted with the current WWE product. The people who care about New Japan have also heard of ROH and probably watch WWE and are the sort of people who are interested in Mania weekend.
If it were just New Japan, Vince would have blocked them too. ROH's parent company has the stature to make this possible. The New Japan relationship has been ROH "reaching" for a while, but New Japan is actually getting something out of it now that Sinclair have started muscling it around a bit. |

By the way, I didn't say it would "randomly sell out" or suggest that PWG would do the same or anything. What I'm saying is that it's not like people would sleep on this because it's ROH and then suddenly go "Oh shit, it's also New Japan? I'm there!" New Japan definitely helps them, but it's a wrestling company with smark equity playing in Vince's backyard during a period of time where shows like All In can have success.
When it comes to wrestling that isn't WWE, I think people underestimate the overlap in the Venn diagram of fandom. People who give a shit about New Japan and people who give a shit about ROH aren't these completely different circles. |

If New Japan pulled out of this show, I don't think you get 18,000 people asking for refunds.
