I'm so thankful that pro wrestling is back on TNT. WWF/WWE has jumped all over cable/network television.
I'm not thankful for that Cowboys helmet. America's team my ass |

As much as I'd like to see PnP get the title shot, I don't think you want to pull off of SCU yet and I don't think you want to have PnP lose a title match yet.
Bucks vs SCU should be a banger based on all their previous matches in RoH etc |

at Santana blatantly putting himself through a table.
Main event tag match was very good. If that was WWE, Santana & Ortiz would have won solely because WWE almost always does a heel vs face setup for matches. Show itself was very good overall and one of the better episodes since Dynamite started. |

The last couple of weeks were good and fun, but it didn't feel strongly like it "mattered" much. Feuds and angles are happening and rolling along again this week. |

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. I loved everything with Jericho, he is the best, and Cody was also awesome tonight. The main event was killer, I love the Bucks and P&P are totally top 5 tag team in the world right now. The Omega & Page/Sabian & Spears match was really good. The Janella angle was pretty good but I wish it had been a little more detailed in the aftermath. Kenny Omega & Page were fucking awesome though. Page did leave "The Elite" like two Being the Elite's ago, and it seems like they could be starting a story between Kenny and Hangman. That would be perfect I think. I think that match could be a match of the year.

Oh and MJF was on fire. I loved his Promo, probably his best most storytelling one yet. He feels like the best promo worker since CM Punk's heyday.

You know that Cody grew up idolizing Sting right? Can't you feel that in all of his matches now? The confidence, the way he owns the ring oozes passion. The structure of his matches and high spots are all reminiscent of Sting as well. Surfer Sting, to be specific. Cody is Sting. And it is awesome.

Meanwhile outside of a couple of weeks, NXT feels like what people thought AEW was going to be in the sense of being very heavy with in-ring stuff and little else. |

It's hard to adjust to AEW's way of following up angles with sometimes 2-4 weeks between ... such as Spears and Janella, or the slow cook on Cody and MJF but my oh my isn't it great to get that f'n payoff!? We haven't been around long enough to get a serious AEW babyface pay off but, it will happen eventually. Cody alluded to an eventual "Match Beyond"... you'd have to imagine The Inner Circle vs The Elite. When that does finally happen, it's going to be f'n fireworks. I can't wait.
Also I want to say, remember how bad Joey's promo was last week? Well he was kind of the same in his bad acting this week. There is a part of my that wouldn't mind if he was replaced with someone else with big promise once his contact is up. I think he'd be best off as an indy super rebel like he was before AEW. I do enjoy his matches in AEW don't get me wrong but I don't feel like he comes off very well in angles and promos. |

Being no.1 contender shouldnt give you preferential treatment. Its doesnt in real sports. More often than not, especially in boxing, you see the champs picking the weakest choices in the contendership pool that they can and still draw.
More over applied to wrestling heels doing the same could make for a good chase angle |

He does suck. But I enjoyed the Cracker Barrel Brawl, and his matches with Mox and Kenny.
