But you were comparing him to Koko who was literally a JTTS. Brutus was at Jake Roberts level.

Also, getting guys ready to feed to Hogan meant losing to those guys. It didn't mean they were bad, it meant they were trusted to make the heels look as strong as possible for Hulk.

Brother Bruti was a tag team champion. Even though he was the lesser of the Dream Team he was champion.
Over like rover. Koko was over in Mempho and everywhere he went. JTTS at the end of his career in the WWF but he had higggggggggggh eneeeeeergggyy and Frankie. Yeahhhhh! Both are worthy of WWE Hall of Fame because it's just what Vince says and goes. Torrie Wilson is the new bottom for the Hall of Fame in terms of quality. |

That was more of a Hillbilly Jim/Hacksaw Duggan kinda role. Brutus wasn't getting fed to the Hogan monsters. He was protected big time because he was Hogans buddy

Alright I concede, Brutus Beefcake was the 2nd best wrestler in all of WWF behind Hogan for years. Way to go Brutus.

Lol the greatest thing is when Brutus made his return to the WWE and the crowd shitting all over him during his interview with McMahon in the ring. Someone yells "let's go sailing" and "kill yourself"

That was right when ECW really started gaining some steam, I'm guessing a few of that Raw fans were taking their heckling "to the, EXTREME" (insert Paul Hey man voice).

Lol It’s silly to have a “legacy” section. What makes Luna a legacy inductee instead of a regular inductee? Just makes it all needlessly more convoluted.

"The Legacy wing of the WWE Hall of Fame serves to honor the pre-television history of professional wrestling (or at least, the pre-modern era of professional wrestling), as a means both to pay tribute to the fact that the art form has been around and been extremely popular for well over 100 years, and to further legitimize the modern inductees that contemporary fans are familiar with." Yep, that is Luna lol |

Even Buddy Rose is weird for that era. He was doing jobs for the WWF in like 90-91

The whole point of the Legacy Wing was that it honored people from before wrestling was on TV.
Now they’re just oversatursting it. |

WTF? If Luna is a "legacy" inductee then so is Bruno, Warrior, Koko, basically at least half of the "regular" inductees. This company is so stupid it honestly deserves to go bankrupt, as does the McMahon family, not that it will happen or that I think it should, but FFS it's absolutely deserved.

If Luna's going in that signals to me that the Legacy Wing is just going to turn into "here's some more deceased wrestlers we don't wanna do full posthumous inductions for"

They're gonna wait for Fred Ottman to kick the bucket and put The Natural Disasters into the Legacy Wing

Unless they can make money off indicting the deceased, then they will still do it. |

It's gotta just be a new "rule" about deceased inductions. I honestly thought part of the Legacy Wing was they were putting in people they didn't have a ton of footage readily available for. And that obviously isn't the case with Luna.
Toss in that Gangrel would, presumably, happily accept on her behalf and it's just a really puzzling choice to not give her a full induction. |

At least in regards to women's wrestling, it was always going to be very slim pickings for legitimate Hall of Fame caliber candidates due to WWE's historical poor handling of their women's division till very recently. They could have done Luna this year and save Torrie for next year if they actually cared about this year's class. |

Here's the full list of Legacy inductees
█Bruiser Brody, Wahoo McDaniel, Luna Vachon, SD Jones, Professor Toru Tanaka, Primo Carnera, Madison Square Garden Network creator Joseph Cohen, Former WWF President Hisashi Shinma, and Playboy Buddy Rose. Very cool list this year. |

Apparently Jimmy Hart is going to be at WWE's Hall of Fame ceremony which makes the decision to not have him be inducted into the Hart Foundation even more perplexing.
WWE announced he's going to be the inductor for the Honky Tonk Man. |

This fucking legacy inductees video package is so cringey, every time the word "wrestling" should be used it instead says "sports entertainment" even if it's talking about the 50's or 60's.

He's a fucking bellend when it comes to that shit, the only difference his product has to "pro wrestling" is a bigger budget than it had before. Fuck all else, yet he has it in his head that what he does is so much different to what people did before. Delusional old tit.
