I truly dont see how. Unless you're trying to put some social stigma onto a disease i guess. People get sick all the time. More common still if he was juicing when he was in nxt. The odds arent low. Its a real thing people contract. Its not overly fatal these days either. Lotta baggage left over from the 80s but people live super long and very normal lives with it in the modern era.

That would essentially make this game the "go fund me" for the new AKI game we've been wanting for decades for.

Tl;dr you're really in the dark on this topic. Make fun of visuals, sure. Not a point of interest for me personally but im a guy who picked Triangle Strategy as my 2022 GotY. Visuals arent something that makes me open my wallet. Ultra low priority. Graphics fanboys are def going to have a good time at the all you can eat meme machine that this will offer. Dev times though? You might as well start talking about nuclear physics. You know as much about both topics.
So you are saying putting a game out in 3 years would be considered a... rush??

My post was neither facetious or lacking objectivity, it was a sarcastic knock solely based on the graphics shown in the tweet which is what I replied to.

Your reply was a detailed rundown of development timeframes, during which you made the same point, that the graphics can be made fun of.

Since you took my initial sarcasm as a serious statement, and put together a solid response that 3 years is "lightning fast dev time", I then agreed with you that 3 years would be considered a "Rushed Release".

I found it a comical situation that while arguing against my sarcastic statement, you basically came to the same conclusion. That is not me being intellectually dishonest, that is you being heedless.

This game’s development hasn’t gone to plan. The developers leaving, the roster being so out of date, the graphics being so shit. You can talk about the development cycles for better games all you want — I think everyone knows the plan was to have the game out by now. And it was Omega who told THQ Nordic to throw out their engine and start from scratch. He’s made unnecessary work for them from the beginning.

I’m telling you — this is going to play like shit too. It can emulate the controls and attempt No Mercy vibes all it wants. It’s going to be clunky and out of date. It won’t be able to capture the rush of the N64 games.

They’ve been very careful with what they’ve shown you. In that gameplay demo with Orange Cassidy and Evil Uno, you can tell how fiddly those controls are.
