Which is a fucking shame. Those two have had stellar matches in the past with zero on the line. This is, to renew an old joke from around here, a dropped boat.

I selfishly feel (and have for quite some time) like he should knock off Nick Aldis and become the new touring NWA Champ. He would still be able to do his side shit, film 10 Pounds of Gold, and have fresh matches in one fell swoop. I was hoping that would happen when he looked like he was out the door before. |

I watched the Cruiserweights, then Ricochet / Joe and then fast forwarded to the finishes of the rest. Can't imagine spending 4 hours plus on that.

Knew they wouldn’t be able to resist turning Seth and Becky’s relationship into an angle. Becky is done.

Oh come on you guys don't you realize the end game here isn't Seth/Becky vs Corbin/Lacey? It's at next years WM with Seth/Becky vs HHH/Steph.

Joe actually looked like the badass he should have looked like from day one at WrestleMania.
Good to see they’ve squandered that as quickly as possible. |

I thought Roman vs Drew was the best match of the night. Even with the Shane interference. It felt like an old school late 80's match with a new age twist. Everything flowed great. Probably one of Roman's best matches ever.

I think the angle in the main event was really nicely done. WWE has to tell stories and this story with Seth and Baron has been solid, and I think in retrospect down the line will not be remembered with the hatred "we" have for it now. Doing the mixed match at the next PPV will be something different which is so badly needed.

I dunno about best ever but I agree that it did feel old school and by the ending was really well done.

Pretty much, only thing of note was Ricochet winning US Title, DBry/Otis work well together and the closing segment.
A lot of RAW-esque matches imo w/ a handful of good moments. |

Just finished watching a replay.
The Man won. Hopefully Becky can now move on from the terrible Lacey feud. Woods being able to hoist Big E on his shoulders for a move was pretty cool. New Day vs. Sami & Owens was pretty good overall. Joe vs. Ricochet was very good overall. Not surprised Joe lost since WWE loves to constantly knee cap his momentum whenever its good. Samckdown tag title match was good. A bit too long though but was still entertaining. The turnbuckle bomb spot was dumb considering Bliss's history with concussions. Bliss vs. Bayley was meh overall. Bliss still isn't good enough in the ring for the level of pushes and spotlight she keeps getting. Drew vs. Reigns was also meh overall. It did get somewhat interesting near the end but then had the flat abrupt ending. Just bored of the entire Reigns vs. Shane & Drew feuds. Kofi diving and landing face first to win the cage match was pretty interesting. Kofi vs. Ziggy was meh to decent at best but nothing really special for the cage stip. Lacey as the big payoff for the guest ref. Umm since when can refs suddenly change the match type? Not sure how eating a banana fixes an injured shoulder going by Renee's logic. Main event was whatever. Not interested at all in more Corbin and Lacey for RAW's big title feuds. Overall, the show was decent. First half was pretty good and second half just dragged the show down in quality. |

She abruptly made it a No Count Out and then afterwards a No DQ.
Counted to 9 on Baron being outside then got the ring announcer to have him state its now a no count outs match. Then when Baron wanted to use a chair, instead of her just not caring or pretending to not see, she got the ring announcer again to state its now a No DQ match. Still trying to figure out how Renee's advice of Lacey should eat a banana to fix her "injured" shoulder makes any sense. |
