The Damascus stuff, I'm this many years old stuff, was meh. I thought once he started challenging Jericho on not believing cuz he can't see, that it was fine. They should stick with that.

The Broken stuff has always been FAR better out of the arena.
The Elite/Delete back and forth yelling was a classic WWE skit. |

Alvarez said that the teleporting thing was way too wacky... It's one thing if Hardy is just a crazy guy but to have him teleport and have supernatural powers... Compared it to Kris Statlander who thinks she's an alien, but they don't pretend like she's really an alien Meltzer said he wasn't sure if it fits with what AEW is trying to do, but time will tell |

I had some big laughs during the segment, the teleportation was great since they had the empty arena. "You truly are the hole of the ass" got me LOLing for sure. There is some stupid shit that comes with the Hardy gimmick but I'd say this segment overall was a success. Plus he described the Demascus gimmick thoughly so we know what's actually going on. My girlfriend has no exposure to Broken Matt and by the end she thought it was good. But she was mostly like "wtf".

How is AEW putting on good shows while WWE RAW/SD have nothing but a few promos, an hour reply and 2 random matches?

So much this. I've watched AEW since they had their TV deal and its pretty damn good. There are some flaws, sure, but god damn, they are far and away better TV than anything WWE in recent history. |

Listening to Cornette have a meltdown about the end segment of Dynamite. He's insulting Tony Khan, saying current wrestlers aren't real men and blowing up about Matt and his hokey broken Matt schtick. He's furious lmao. I don't think this'll kill any of the characters like he says it will. But it was bad. Despite Jericho's best efforts.

I knew Cornette would need medical attention after it lol.
I hope AEW keeps stressing Jim out. |

I think the broken Matt stuff can work, but they need to acknowledge he's crazy and off his rocker and quit with the teleporting and other goofy shit.

Same. I couldn't honestly tell you last time I watched it. Keep a sub and pay for it for my mother-in-law, who is still very much in kayfabe-ville. She doesn't do/have much, and WWE is the highlight of her week. Only downside is pretending to be interested when she calls to talk. |

The difference is Undertaker is a once in a lifetime gimmick that wasn't that hokey with the magic stuff when it started, and again, is a once in a lifetime character. Can't compare that to Matt Hardy, even tho I do like Matt.

I can't believe AEW actually did the Broken stuff and had Matt Hardy teleport. Hahaha! Alternative my ass.
