You're right about that. He wouldn't turn it down, but I just think they would have offered it to him earlier. Unless they wanted to wait for either Dennis to be healthy (that's a strong possibility actually) and the rib of making Corny go to New York is just too hilarious for some people to pass up.

Cornette says he's done managing, and I believe him, but I could see him being used to cut some backstage promos for some guys as their "sponsor" or some shit and them easily being the best thing on any show.

Yeah, terms have seemed good, but I don’t know how actively they want to go the “whole way” with him. Apparently Cornette suggested doing a series on classic wrestling for them.

Is Jerry Jarrett a ridiculous suggestion? I feel like he would belong and cold have a good moment with Jeff inducting him.

With the extension of WWE now, with NXT UK and various other things in the works, as well as having non-WWE guys like Abdullah in, it'd be cool if there was a wing for guys who never worked in WWE but still have significance to the history of the sport. A few UK guys like Johnny Saint or Robbie Brookside going in would be cool.

Not ridiculous, but doesn't really seem like the WWE thing to do. I don't think they really pay attention to accurate history a lot of the time.

They've inducted any promoters/ older wrestlers that have little to do with the WWE who have sons in the company/involved with them.
Bob Armstrong (Road Dogg) Stu Hart (Bret Hart) The Sheik (Sabu/RVD) Carlos Colon (Primo,Epico) Eddie Graham (Mike Graham was doing stuff with the company) |

Chris Benoit deserves to be in. He was a great rassler. His family was a pain in the ass that had to be disciplined

Man, Jim Cornette would be stoked to go in the same year as The Undertaker and Jerry Jarrett. And if Christian and Victoria were in place too, I imagine he'd be proud of them being in the class too. |

Put him on hes own then, Don't see the point of making Bret and Jimmy 2x HOFers... Both don't deserve that honor have Jimmy and Bret induct him and have Natalya do the accepting on he's behalf

They've done it with others. Ric Flair for example.

I always liked to imagine that when the Four Horsemen went in, even though it was their most famous incarnation, I choose to believe that Paul Roma and Mongo became unofficial HOFers lol
Now Owen, Pillman, and Bulldog can unofficially be in! |

Could be looking at a potential throwaway or "last minute" type class if that rumor is true. |
