WWE eliminating all live events that aren't RAW or SD???
Other than a London RAW and SD in May, nothing is announced for post WM other than an international house show tour and SS in Toronto and SuSe in Chicago. Usually by this time WWE has announced their big event (ppv) calendar for the whole year. Either A) something is up w/ live events or B) the department in charge of live events is in total disarray. Hmmm.

They are doing a European tour in April/May but so weird nothing else announced...

Maybe they are

A) Getting rid of having so many ppvs to make RAW and SD more 'must see'

and

B) Negotiating w/ medium sized arenas (5K-10K) instead of always booking RAW/SD in 15-20K arenas.

I'd go with option B at this point since they're obviously having issues with selling out all their big arenas they always book.

House Shows in general aren't nearly as important as they used to be, so running large arenas makes no sense at all.

I agree 100%.

They run 6 house shows a week not counting NXT.

There is no financial reason for them. They turn a modest profit, but in the overall revenue for the company, it's not like cutting some would really hurt.

In terms of the allure for fans, we are at least 15 years past the point of the novelty. Nothing happens at house shows, storylines aren't advanced, title changes don't happen, and since it's not televised to 99% of the fans, it's essentially like it never happened.

In terms of workrate benefits, it's not like WWE gives the wrestlers today the freedom today to take chances and try new things on their own on TV. It's also not like AJ Styles NEEDS to have 4 matches a week to be a good wrestler.

WWE always says they create content, but if what happens at a house show is never seen, then they as not creating anything.

Whether they want to admit it or not, they are a television company. House shows would be like CNN anchors giving the news once a week on TV, then 3 other times a week to random people in a town.

I think Raw and Smackdown should each run a house show a week, not 3. That would eliminate a ton of the wear and tear on the wrestlers, as well as prevent burn out. And if a wrestler REALLY needs reps, they can just go to the performance center.

Lol although to be honest if you asked me to choose between Raw/Smackdown or going to a House Show, I'd probably choose the House Show. I've always enjoyed myself more at a House Show than Raw/Smackdown/Nitro etc..
