Becky’s still going to get her moment...but now it’s going to be just another McMahon storyline. Instead of the catharsis of her tapping out Ronda and solidifying herself as the best, she’ll tap out Charlotte again and Ronda will get to go away without ever taking a fall.

It took them two weeks for me to go from over the moon excited at Becky winning the Rumble to completely flatline my interest in the program.

Feels like there was no way the Becky vs. Ronda heat was going to last another two months anyway without them somehow ruining it if it was going to be a singles match, so really don't mind this...

Will be a really good match with Charlotte...

Yeup. Adding Steph to this storyline messes up a bunch of things.

Should have just been Becky vs Ronda getting all the attention and leading to Becky beating Ronda to plant the seeds for a 4 Horsewomen MMA vs WWE feud later.

Instead you have Steph and the Authority leeching away Becky's heat the past few weeks to go on top with a terrible injury and suspension storyline. Randomly adding Charlotte to the feud just waters it down even more. For post-Mania stuff, WWE now has their road to make it all about Steph and the Authority after Becky wins like when Bryan won the belt at Mania 30.

Without the McMahons or other people, the Ronda vs. Becky feud would have probably gotten boring if it was just them coming out each week and cutting the same promo for two months... WWE is not good at long term (over one month) storylines...

If Charlotte were liked enough as a face to headline against Ronda outright, make no mistake, WWE would’ve done it.

Becky getting over was a hindrance to them. They’ll put her in the match and put her over to avoid a riot, but they still have to get their golden girl over.

I’ve literally held off of buying WM tickets because I was gonna wait and see if they fucked the match up.

I remember early 2000's I would order WM and they would have an all day long special stuff airing when your ordered, leading up to WM. I was so damned hype for that. It made my entire Sunday. It felt like the Superbowl.

I think AEW will be the biggest promotion in 5 years. I really believe this. WWE is beyond saving at this point and I really do hope everyone that has there contract running out, leaves. I really want the Uso's to go to AEW. I cant wait for AEW. I'm so fucking sick that WWE managed to fuck up this Ronda vs Becky feud. I cant believe it.

Exactly why they don't need to do that. Becky doesn't need to show up on both RAW and Smackdown every week. The announce team can drop a seed every so often to keep warm that it is still a thing, instead it is a beat-you-over-the-head diatribe anytime one of the competitors appears (which again, is twice a week for Becks and once a week for Ronda) because they can't keep Becky away because they seem to think fans will cool on her instantly ... prob'ly because they didn't want to push her in the first place and her popularity is still surprising to them.

It isn't as complicated as they are making it themselves; don't cram into two days what you can accomplish over two+ weeks.

I really would love to know what the fuck the point of showing Kevin Owens bowling was. I mean, remember when a guy came back from injury and it was great and unexpected. Welp! Fuck all that I guess. Fuck pumping some excitement in the crowd. They may as well just give all the fans a fucking itinerary for the fucking night.

WWE is literally just sucking the fun out of there own product. I'm not sure why anyone invests money into them anyway or how.

True but they also managed to handicap themselves by trying to juggle too many things at once. Becky being "injured" and suspended did give them an out to shift direction away from Ronda and not have her be on tv every week but they blew it big time.

Even something as simple as teasing Bliss getting involved was just quickly tossed away in favor of just randomly adding Charlotte into the mix.

I did see enough in the last couple of weeks to know that in the space of two matches, one promo segment, and one "encore" air guitar session, Eric Bugenhagen, Matt Riddle, and Drew Gulak have gotten more accompished in booking, a push, and getting over inside of 30 minutes than most of the main roster with weeks of supposed writing and "liking to have fun".

On a side note, I initially thought Bugenhagen was Rollermacka, and that his "never pinned or submitted in WWE" streak was going to come to an end.
