I love both songs the Braves play after huge hits. I would put them on my iPod if I could find them.

Why the hell are they still using Schilling as a closer anyway?

3.5 games back bitches. Sweep of the god damn mother fucking overrated White Sox. The A's are 4-6 in their last 10. Johan and Radke are back to form. Lew Ford is clutch again. Joe Mauer is more of a ladies man then your hometown hero. Hope has temporarily returned to Twinsville.
A Twins-Cardinals World Series would be fucking unbelievable (basically everybody at school is from St. Louis) but lets not get too ahead of ourselves. One game at a time. |

What? How are the Twins out of it being only three games back and having just won 6 of 7 games against the White Sox and A's?

By the way, Richard Sexson > the Twins.
Haha remember that time someone was talking about wasted money and you posted a picture of him? He currently has 32 homers and 90 rbi to go along with an OPS over .900. The Twins sure could use him, considering their current lineup consists of Joe Mauer, Shannon Stewart, and seven bums. |

Schillings back in the starting rotation.
Timlin is the closer for now. Foulke had a simulated game, 2nd or 3rd pitch Trot Nixon hit, hit Foulke in the arm, he's ok and I think has another simulated game this week. He doesn't want any rehab in the minors, but the Sox always send a pitcher their first of the DL. It's possible with him being a closer they won't. I still think next year you'll see Foulke as a starter. |

So spending millions of dollars on a huge bat so that your team can rot in the cellar is a good decision? You got me.

If the Kansas City Royals sign a huge bat this off-season, will they be a playoff contender? Rockies? Pirates?
The Mariners were very bad in 2004. Very, very bad. So bad that no matter who they brought in - even if it was Lee, Pujols, or ARod - they would still be very bad in 2005. This team lost 99 games last year, they will not lose that many this year. Had they not signed Sexson, they would've lost more. The Mariners are not a team that was one piece away from being a contender. They were, and still are, several piece away from being a contender. Sexson was one piece and a step in the right direction. He is one of the premier power hitters in the AL and has met everyone's expectations. If you hadn't noticed Seattle has the best pitching prospect in the game as well as a plethora of good young talent. Felix Hernandez, Mike Morse, Jeremy Reed, Jamal Strong and Yuni Betancourt all have bright futures. People love to rag Beltre but people forget he has played in the NL with the same organization since he was 16. He will never hit 48 homers again but he can still be very good. He is still only 26. Sexson is the least of our problems. |

I doubt they'll make the playoffs if their moron manager doesn't shift that lineup. Beane also needs to bring up Daric Barton and wipe Scott Hatteberg and Bobby Kielty from existence.

Ted Lilly, who wasn't that good so it makes me hate Kielty a little less that they didn't really give up anything. Kielty would be ok if he would stop switch hitting, he is the worst left handed hitter of all time.

Also if I remember correctly the Jays traded Shannon Stewart to the Twins for Kielty straight up, talk about trade-rape

I think the Jays gopt a pitching prospect, but I forget. Stewart was always getting hurt and seemed to have lost his ambition in Toronto. He had to be moved.

Also Lilly has been 'ok' on the Jays. Better than Kielty or Stewart would be.

God damned Jays. They get back into the playoff hunt and then get swept by the Tigers. So much for the 4 game series being worth a damn. 15-0 Tigers right now.

FUCK RANDY JOHNSON.
Back-to-back-to-back HRS, two base hits, then a 3R HR. Couldn't of happened to a better man. |

I don't know what suprised me more...
Renteria's first HR in over 200 AB OR David Ortiz butting onto base with the bases empty. He keeps saying he was going to do in cause of the "shift" and he did... LMFAO. |

Went to the Mets game today...strangely, the biggest highlight was riding in the elevator with Keith Hernandez on the way to the Diamond Club
Can't remember the last time I've booed so much in a game (most of the booing coming in the first inning) Though it was cool with Mike Jacobs...first big league game, AB, hit, pinch hit, HR, and first 3 RBIs |
