Heck yeah...if you drag it out, when it finally happens, it won't have the same impact...u've seen all the reaction THIS has gotten, and he never even turned heel, he was just forced to join NeXus...kids crying, people shocked, etc...this RAW had a whole different feel to it because of that alone...if they would've done the heel turn, UFF...would've been CRAZY.

...As a matter of fact, apart from Summerslam, Daniel Bryan hasn't had any connection to NeXus...they didn't give continuity to "NeXus firing Bryan"...you'd think he would be standing tall against NeXus alongside Cena...

...but hey...continuity is overrated nowadays.

GOLDUST was the highlight of the night! That whole thing was brilliant, and I’m stoked. It’s great to see him actually get involved in a storyline.

I love Cenexus. The ending was perfect.

Only saw the main event and thought it was pretty bad storyline wise in a really obvious/boring kind of way I also watched Cena/Barrett from the PPV earlier and I don't think I've ever heard commentary on WWE TV as bad as what I heard during that match and the main event of tonight's RAW, don't know whether that's because I haven't been watching for however long or what so it stood out but my fucking god.

Maybe it was the commentary that killed the match. Can't believe how bad it was.

You need to see the whole of Raw to get the main event scene. Loads of Cena-Nexus promos happened.

could you elaborate on why you felt it was so bad? i'll agree that the finish was a bit predictable, but there really isn't any other way they could go with it.

Aside from some of the Cena/Nexus bits, this was a pretty weak RAW.

I couldn't believe that we were actually getting "never give up" chants from the fans.

What would be really good is if the show a progression week after week like...

Barrett wants Cena to beat people up Cena refuses to and is threatened to be fired so he beats people up to prevent from getting fired but Cena's not happy with what he's done...

Later that night Barrett asks him to beat someone up Cena refuses until Barrett threatens to get him fired. Cena goes out and takes someone completely out. He goes way to far and puts someone on the shelf for a long time. Raw ends with him over this obliterated opponent smiling.

If Cena ends up as a full-fledged heel out of this, I don't think it'll be because he "starts liking" being a heel.

I think once he starts doing more heelish things, against his will, people will start booing him more and he'll start saying that he agreed to join the Nexus because he's a man of his word and because wrestling is his life but now everyone has turned their back on him. Or something along those lines.

Glad Cena didn't just turn heel right away. The best storylines have a slow, methodical build up.

I think this angle with Nexus is the WWE's way of testing the waters for a Cena heel turn. Maybe see how far they can take him in that direction and how it affects sales and viewership.
