Yeah, but it also ages them. Something about The Rock, especially, just feels like you present him as a guy perpetually in his prime. Slapping the Hall of Fame sticker on him makes him seem way less urgent in my head.

Would make sense considering he was originally rumored to get inducted last year before WWE swapped him out with someone else instead. Also was the only person on the leaked list that didn't get inducted in last year's class.

Bam Bam makes sense as the posthumous. The Undertaker as the headliner. Cyndi Lauper as celebrity. Michelle McCool as the woman. The Glamour Girls as the group. I can see Johnny Saint going in. There are maybe two more spots. X-Pac going in one of these years makes sense.

Regal will go in one year, but I see them putting in Saint (no doubt he'll be there for WrestleMania week), and I can see Regal putting Saint in so we still get some Regal talking.

I'd heard they want to put The Natural Disasters in together even though they only teamed for like two years.

Quake definitely has a HoF worthy career. I'm also surprised he hasn't been inducted.

Yeah, genuinely surprised by that. Actually, if they planned to have Hogan induct him, I guess over the past few years it hasn't been all that surprising. I think Bam Bam in the best choice for a posthumous this year, given the New Jersey connection, but Quake for next year, definitely.

Cyndi Lauper going in this year would be a great tie-in for the first women's main event. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and all that.

I think Bam Bam goes in, as they like to put in a hometowner. I also think Jim Neidhart is going in, since they used his death as a storyline and everything, seems that WWE should honor him with a HOF induction already. |

Yeah, the natural causes stuff really shouldn't disuade WWE from honoring people. You're right on that one. Jim Neidhart will go in, but I can see them holding it off until it's not as fresh for Natalya, or so that it doesn't seem tokenstic. I mean, maybe the people involved won't see it that way, but it's kind of shitty when a guy dies and then WWE says "Oh yeah, they were a Hall of Famer." An active legend on the roster, like Eddie Guerrero, makes it a bit different, because it's the sudden capping of a career as opposed to suddenly looking at a body of work and acknowledging so soon after someone's death.

If I'm putting together a realistic list of potential nominations (not suing the WWE, decent relationship etc..) it would look like this
Taker as headliner Bam Bam Cyndi Lauper Victoria I guess Rick Martel Christian The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette |

That's honestly a really great list. The thing about the Midnights and Cornette is that I just can't see them going in with Cornette being so opinionated and "active" with those opinions. Like, not in a "there's heat there" sort of way, but I don't know if they want to put in a guy that is going to be objectively tearing their shows to pieces in a very public way if it comes up on his podcast, haha. After the Rock 'n' Roll went in in 2017, 2018 would have been a great time to put Cornette and the Midnights in in New Orleans. I don't know if Corny would make the trip to New York, haha. But he's always said he wouldn't hold the Midnights back from it, and the New York thing would be a giant rib on him. When it comes to tag teams, I can see them putting a woman's team in this year. The Glamor Girls? Just with those new women's belts and the emphasis on the women. |

Seriously don't think it would be ridiculous to put David Arquette in the celebrity wing. Horribleness of the angle aside, he was a fucking World Heavyweight Champion. It also wouldn't shock me for The Miz to bring David Arquette into his entourage at some point. Lol, maybe they hire Freddie Prinze, Jr. again and have him run around with them. Hire back Jody Kristofferson. Shame they couldn't get Luke Perry's kid.
I'm not a Miz fan, but that stable would be hilarious. Miz as the leader/full-time wrestler, David Arquette as his insane former World Heavyweight Champion buddy out to prove himself, Jody K. as the "bodyguard" and Freddie Prinze, Jr. as the associate that is going to one day introduce Miz to Sarah Michelle Gellar, but she's "very busy." The Fame Horsemen. |

Arquette was always great. I was a big fan of the angle back then. It should have never took this long for people to start coming around to him, he put on a great performance and had me invested as a fan when it happened. I went to see Ready 2 Rumble afterwards and it is still my favorite movie to this day. I would watch it every time I would see it on TBS even long after WCW closed.
