I collapsed my first attempt too, literally like a foot from the finish line. Was feeling all smug and full of piss and vinegar because she was beating me 'til the last stretch then I started sprinting hardcore on the straightaway. My health was diminishing but I still had like 1/4 (maybe 1/8) of red health bar left so I thought I was golden then NOPE boom down. When I retried I just kind of "soft" sprinted (held down X) and occasionally tapped it a bit to gain some speed, idk kind of paced myself better and beat her pritty easily

Yeah, first time I raced her I crashed into people on the final stretch and lost. I got her next time though.

There have been several PS3 games with this sort of option. The patent was relatively specific.

So yeah, apparently it wasn't the Social Club that wasn't working right last night as I was able to create an account using my phone. Turned out to be something with my browser.
I haven't gotten to Trevor yet, don't think I'm even close. I've been looking for Stunt Jump locations. |

I mean you can just play your music over the game anyway but I liked how it was integrated in the Xbox GTAs and THUG. NFL 2k5 also used it to awesome degree. DOA5 and TTT2 lets you set your own music to stage and menu screens. Why this isn't standard blows my mind. |

First triathlon I did I crashed the bike and was losing pretty heavily. Luckily, just before the sprint stage, I managed to run over the 1st place guy accidentally and then won the race easily.

I enjoy the soundtrack. Better than IV, easily.
The FlyLo station might surprisingly be my favorite station. It seems like it isn't long enough though. The intros and breaks repeat themselves a lot more often than on other stations. I was listening to it for a long time and was prepared to complain that there was no Captain Murphy on it but it snuck on right before I started a mission one time. I'll have to look up a playlist and see what tracks are on the station. When he goes "It's Flying Lotus AKA _____ AKA ______ AKA _______" just remoinds me of Flaser. And the fact that he doesn't post enough. The rap stations are really good. Still DRE is considered classic rap. We're getting old. I love the talk segments but it seems like there isn't enough. That JB Smoove bit is really good if you can get past the "OOOOOOMMMM" parts of the beginning. Smiling Faces a good choice. OOOH Child a good choice. I think the classic rock is a bit of a letdown and there's one station I haven't listened to at all for some reason. |

Shit my girlfriend just bought me this game "randomly," my plan of waiting until December to buy it and play it when I don't have an "insane amount of homework" to do is not gonna happen
Have to talk about it to U fuckers now |

Game feels mad surreal
Crashes are more like San Andreas and Vice City than IV No longer "unstoppable" in your car/doesnt flip over every 5 seconds Front wheels keep giving out |

Strange, I'd think they would have you buy DLC items like weapons and cars.
Now this makes me think in-game purchases are finite and you have to 'keep them up'. Should be interesting seeing seeing how the online economy works. |

Unfortunately, as with many missions in this game, you're still somewhat beholden to luck. |

Yeah, the one shot kills can piss me off at times. Especially when I'm in cover and it hits me anyway.

I miss the days when GTA did not have check points in their missions.

I really don't. It's a game-changer in the right way. You could always say restart from the beginning if you really wanted to.

When you die, manually restart mission from the start. No checkpoints, hardcore man, enjoy.

That's what we used to do on NES.
GTA:SA was good where it would let you skip a boring part if you fail. I felt so much happier when I beat GTA:VC's final mission with no check points than I do now when I beat current gen games |

No, starting from the beginning of the level in a NES game is not the same as having to drive halfway across the map over and over again. Stop it.

Never got too far in San Andreas but a checkpoint system would have helped out a lot for Vice City at least for the chase and timed missions.

Not all the time, as meatball said.
If you're so hungry for challenge, then try golding every mission. Or play a game that is focused around challenge, like Dark Souls or Hard Corps. |

Rofl, I thought I was getting 1 hitted by head shots but wasn't entirely sure. Thought I might have been looking over my health being low or something. But sometimes I KNEW it had to be the 1 hitter quitter at work. Glad to know I wasn't tripping.
