Haven't played a COD since Black Ops 2 (which I wasn't a fan of). I'll probably just use Halo to hold me over untill Gears comes out

Yes and they got in. You can't really name a character in the game who is huge in the west and unknown in Japan.

Does anyone in the UK know where I can get an official charger for the Wii U gamepad? I need a new one, badly. I've looked on Amazon, Nintendo store and GAMEs site.

It might be quite tough. I'd try ebay, but at least if it's fake then it shouldn't be too bad as its DC

I bought a charging dock to prevent wear and tear on that. Did it break?

I have a dock but I never use it. The Wii U is my only means of internet so, between gaming, internet, iPlayer etc, I use it ALOT. So I'm charging it pretty regularly.

I bought the deluxe WiiU that came with the dock as a throw-in. Thing is amazing, really glad I didn't opt to not buy it.


Really hope the NX doesn't come out so soon. But that's just me being selfish since I finally jumped on the WiiU train ~a month ago and I'd hate to see them "give up" on the console so soon.

I bought the extended battery, even though it's overkill. I just didn't like having to think about it all the time.

With DC I mean that it's a DC charger. I'd always be worried about unoffical chargers if it's something that needs a lot of power or an AC thing, but in my head DC chargers are usually safer to use an unofficial thing with. That's me talking out of my arse though. It will probably be quite tough to find one if they're not selling them individually.

The NX won't be out for a few years. They only had to bring it up because people freaked out when they said they were going mobile. They've been frank about the Wii U doing poorly but they're not going to execute it.

Urgh, no, Inafune. Stop with the knock offs. Legends is my favourite Megaman series but I'm not going to touch his new knock off.
Either go back to Capcom to work on Megaman games, buy the rights to Megaman or move on.

Go back to Capcom and do what? Fuck all because they don't want to publish a new Megaman game?

If they had sense, they'd just let him use Megaman in these games though and take a cut of the profits.

I emailed Nintendo about the Wii U gamepad charger. The only way to buy an official one, in the UK, is to call customer service and pay Ł15 over the phone. Delivery can take 7 to 14 days.

Why not just have them on the UK store like NoA has them up on their store? Why do they hide this information unless asked?

Mighty #9 and Red Ash are necessary titles in the wake of Capcom's stupidity. Don't be so enamored by a name that you don't care a great gameplay philosophy lives on in another title.

I'm a Devil May Cry fanboy, but if I had to get my jollies from Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising with DmC being shit than so be it. At least until DMC4SE came, which is awesome.

Let more 'knockoffs' come out of dead franchises. It's the fault of these publishers and we win in the end.

Late Night News Edition:
For those playing or interested in the Rocket League beta on the PS4, small warning that the beta appears to be plagued with some serious issues at the moment. Servers have been struggling with stability issues while the beta itself has been causing PS4 consoles to overheat.

Supposedly the overheating has been an issue the developers haven't been able to fix since the recent beta tests.

Splatoon is great. Quick games aren't that bad. Has an arcadey nature to it.

There is an entire capaign mode if you jump in to the sewer.

Online is regularly being update with new stages, guns and occasional new modes.

The single player mode is fairly short. The bulk of the game is the multiplayer.

I'm not big on shooters but I've been really enjoying it

If you want DQ games to sell then start making core entries a la DQVIII. I mean come on Squeenix, that was an incredible RPG for PS2, and since then all you've managed are a portable core title, a shitty mmo attempt, a couple joker games that ape Pokémon and now another Dynasty Warriors clone. Seriously, can't we just get a regular DQ game for the first time in 10 years?

It doesn't have to be turn based. Just a nice single player console DQ game with towns, party members, and sidequests. Not Dynasty Warriors. Not Pokémon. Not an MMO.
