Definitly needs to be defended on those show but I don't think Cody needs to be locked down to do it. That's assuming Cody has a lengthy reign and doesn't drop it back to Aldis.

it's so hard for me to take Cody Rhodes serious when i saw him midcard for years in the E. He's an excellent talent, great character and promo. I just don't buy him as the NWA World Champion....or any World Champion

I used to feel that way about Cody and then he went to NJPW and I was like "Okay boy now you got it" and he totally sold me in that insanity with Kenny Omega at Cow Palace. The screen time from BTE he's shown to be far and above all the other Bullet Club guys, and with the build to ALL IN, he was a main event star for me.

yeah probably just need to watch more of him. I mean we've seen tons of mid card 4 life guys have a run and make it mean something. JBL comes to mind off the top of my head for me. problem is he's an NWA champ. i don't even know where to watch NWA.

Well the problem we'll see is that neckbeards ARE willing to buy merch, but it has to be specifically catered to them. So we'll see a product that'll progressively be more catered to neckbeards over time. But who knows. That may be good for their product...if "The Indies" can work together as the anti-WWE and get some kind of business/profit sharing going on then the world could be their oyster. I have my doubts though, too many carny shit stains out there willing to fuck it all up for their own wallet.

Promotions dont sell your merch. You produce and sell it yourself. If a promotion advertises your merch on their sight you'll give them a cut but thats usually the extent of it. Profit margins are small on these things tho.

People dont like a fat tax, they arent stupid. I mean they gonna pay it if they want the product....but they wont like it. Problem is when the guy next to you takes the loss and does mark up the fat shirts you look like a dick when you're trying to maintain your profit margins.

Going to any wrestling show is like going to a goddamn freak show. I felt so bad once I went to a Smackdown live event at the Knoxville Civic Center and there was a tragic burn victim scaring off children in our section. I remember a father literally picking up his kid and running away. It was horrible. Luckily there were plenty of open seats. I was close to the guy and the girl he was with and I smiled and stayed because I couldn’t do that to him. But between you and me, that was rough. At NXT BK4 I was surrounded by XXXL’s and they all were the smartest funniest fans in the arena. I wish this type of fan would just stay home. They generally refuse to invest in the show only yelling out the smarkiest most irrelevant thing they can think of. There really should be some kind of decorum amongst the IWC when it comes to live shows. Proper bathing, laundry etiquette especially.

He's trash, even by hardcore wrestler standards. He has conned his way into the spot he's got by tricking people into thinking he isn't trash. But be honest, he looked like what would happen if the Miz had Bayley's hairstyle when he came out. He almost got crippled 3 or 4 Times in that match. Tragically, he didn't.
