Black Panther so overrated...... was good, but not that good.... Aquaman was better and is nowhere to be found.... not that I think Aquaman is best picture quality either....

Closest would have been Logan probably....

Every year no matter the changes you just get the same old shit.

The Oscars finally died for me when The Shape Of Water won best picture over Get Out. That was everything that's wrong with the Academy wrapped up in a neat little coil of turd.

A lot of the indie flicks got shut out for forgotten about. The Favorite, Green Book, and Can You Ever Forgive Me pretty much leading the charge.

Films such as First Reformed, Leave No Trace, The Death of Stalin, 8th Grade, all got critical acclaim, zip.

And Slik, I wouldn't go jumping all over Roma just because it's on Netflix. Roma's been winning everything at the film festivals.

And, Amazon already snagged a few Academy awards. All it takes is a decision from Bezos to put his stuff on Prime.

Ideal Home should at the very least have three acting nominations, a best picture nomination and a best direction nomination.

There isn't a film on that list which I have seen that was anywhere near as good.

BlacKkKlansman is probably the most surprising nomination, hopefully Adam Driver gets Supporting Actor because he actually deserves it.
