Dragonborn DLC arrives tomorrow for the Xbox 360 while the PC and PS3 won't get it until "early 2013."
The Xbox 360 version was always going to be a timed exclusive but now Sony is actively working with Bethesda to get all the PS3 issues resolved in time for the DLC's launch on the PS3 and to get the other missing packs. http://www.giantbomb.com/news/skyrim...rly-2013/4466/ Sony is also helping Bethesda t |

Still fire it up maybe once every week or two. Haven't been in an "RPG" type mood of late so it's tough to just dive in and play without the desire.

I put in around an hour and got SO BORED. Like nothing to do in this game. Ended up getting my character killed by attacking everyone out of boredom.

Yeah I reinstalled this for the hell of it. Have now modded it to hell, and am actually surprised at how well my machine is handling it. Lotta visual mods, but a few gameplay mods. Have roughly 40 mods running right now so I'm not gonna list them lol. There are some really good things the modding community has done. I'm actually PLAYING the game for once. Have a an archer who uses restoration and alteration but I haven't done much with his magic yet. I'm level 10, and I've put just about everything into archery. Little bit into sneak to get the 3x sneak damage for bows.

I still play from time to time. More so now that I've come across a mod for a slightly randomized start so that you don't have to go through the whole execution scene. Just make a character, pick an equipment kit (Or don't. I find it much more enjoyable to start in rags) and get dropped somewhere in Skyrim. Often times near immediate danger. The main story can be started at any time by going near that first town to see the dragon fly off.

I had a sweet character and had unlocked all the cool unique weapons and armor. I went to my houses and hung it up on display and it all disappeared so that kind of killed my enthusiasm for the game.

One of these times when I’m burned out on everything else and have the time for it I’ll probably just spam the shit out of non-combat specific skills until I’ve maxed out all skills to 100 and taken every single perk point there is.
Won’t be for a while, but it’s a fun little “side project” I’ve had in mind for a bit now. |

you can max out all the skills by using draining your alchemy tree. then drinking an old strong potion while wearing armor enchanted to make strong potions and make a potion. it will bring your alchemy back up to 100 in one try

Special Edition is released in three weeks; the upgrade is free for PC users who bought it all the first time round.
Feeling the urge to replay Skyrim, again. Any news on what is happening (if anything is happening) regarding Elder Scrolls 6? |

Looking forward to the revamped Skyrim though. I never liked fiddling with ENBs so this will let me finally play it with decent lighting and whatnot. Only thing I'm a little scared about is whether or not SKSE is gonna work for it or not. If it doesn't it could be a while before we see any of the really good mods working for the special edition (if we ever see them at all.) |

So if anyone is picking up the special edition for xbone on friday, I highly suggest looking at mods by Arthmoor on bethesda.net. He's released a bunch of great stuff, like expanions of the smaller villages, alternate start options so that you dont have to start as a prisoner in helgen, and the most essential mod of all, the unofficial skyrim patch, which fixes a ton of bugs and errors from the base game, and makes mods run smoother across the board.
I pretty much added everything he's put out in my library. |

So in terms of name titles Special is better than Legendary?

I will warn however that the Special Edition is not yet compatible with all mods so if you're on PC you're probably better off sticking to the Legendary Edition for the time being. Many mods will be ported over quickly apparently, but some like the Skyrim Script Extender and mods that require it will take a while. Of course if you're on Xbox then this isn't an issue for you at all because Special Edition is your only choice. |

That'd actually be pretty damn cool. Sadly my bet is on Summerset Isle since they seemed to be setting up the Dominion in Skyrim and then never actually tied up that loose end.
