Why do people still give this company money? Stop it. Stop it right now.

Raw is just one show. Not a lot on earth compares to NXT alone. I still enjoy Smackdown and 205 greatly, too. The Network is a lot of fun for looking back, too. Or uncovering things I missed.

Can't wait for Smackdown tonight when Daniel Bryan turns heel.

Also echoing what ABT said. 205Live, SDLive and NXT are good (mostly), it's really just RAW that's the pits. |

RAW is horrendous to get through most weeks, but after Smackdown and NXT you usually leave the week upbeat and positive. Then the cycle continues.

The Braun thing wasn't that bad, hopefully they won't paint him as heel (they will).

they obviously said ok we have the shield back together. we need a foil. hmmm, who can we use? i guess dolph and drew are midly over and were feuding with seth. put them in. we need a 3rd. well Braun and Roman are feuding. so just put him with Dolph and Drew. we can to 3 man tags for the next 2 months. next... this probably took 5 minutes and that's really all they were probably going to give it. the days of episodic tv are long gone. |

The sky isn't falling, McZiggy and Braun have common enemies so this is natural.
while I could have done without the hand raise at the end start complaining when they actually turn Braun heel. |

It's kind of odd because in some ways there aren't heels/faces anymore and in some ways they are definitive heels/faces. It's sort of a transitional creative time in that sense where they are still figuring things out and it makes for some muddy stuff creatively.

Braun never really did anything to make him a face anyway. He just started getting cheered. Even the MMC stuff was still with a heel Alexa Bliss, as endearing as it was.

What about his "feud" with Elias. He was clearly booked as the face in that. Playing a Cello like a guitar? Thats some goofy mick foley type shit

All I'm saying is that what he did last night wasn't that out of character. The hand raising was too much, but it was fine until then.
Also, is Elias even a heel? |

I figure Braun will 100% turn on Dolph/Drew the second the match ends at Super Show-Down

I think Braun will turn on them at one of the other 3 PPVs WWE is promoting.

Maybe he'll turn back and forth at EACH PPV. That would be compelling.

I get people who watch NXT if it's entertaining, but at the end of the day, it is a feeder. All those guys will just go on to bounce around into nothingness with no direction and no cohesion.
It sucks, but while people pay for the network to watch the feeder fed and old shows, they have no reason to change their ways and revamp things. That's the catch 22 of how great the network deal is. I cancelled it long ago, but I understand those who keep it and enjoy other shows. Will never help this shit get any better though until they feel it in their pockets |

I don't pay any extra for Monday Night Raw than what I already do between the Network and cable. Raw is just one show. As far as NXT? Feeder whatever. People actually enjoy their kids, even on the off chance that they grow into shitty adults. You'd pay ten bucks for the photo album of yesteryear though, yeah?

And it's not IF NXT is entertaining. NXT IS VERY entertaining. Almost worth the price of the Network in and of itself. If anything, if I'm obligated to 'help' anything, I could stop watching Raw. But I don't want to. Out of both habit and a morbid curiosity. On WWE as a whole...things would have to suck all the way across the board to the point where I don't even want the memories of when it was good anymore nor the prospect of a 'youthful exuberance'. I'm not going anywhere.
And I guess that's why they're rich. But I'm still having a good time over here. |

Someone will come and say "but titles on the main roster mean nothing nowadays too" and I know that, but it shouldn't be the case as is one of the many things that are wrong with RAW I totally get why people enjoy it though and the network is an awesome deal. It just pains me because I have watched WWF since I was 6-7 years old, consistently, but just can't stomach it nowadays. Even the lows of the new generation were much better that this and with no PPV to sell and no competition, it's only going to get worse. |

I understand what you're saying, but you've got to consider Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Elias, the entire womens division...more recently Drew McIntyre, Andrade Almas...people of that ilk, being handled just fine on the main roster. There's always a sliver of hope.

Also, Braun has wanted to "fight everybody" for a long time. That was his face turn. "Fuck the heels, I don't need no help." Now he wants back-up because he needs it. Quote:

But if you're enjoying it, fine. Good for you. I just can't in good conscience give this company my money and validate their directionless product. NXT filters into Raw and SmackDown, which is just stirred diarrhea constantly. |

I think one of the blessings of NXT is that talent cycles through. You can tune in 6 months down the line and there’s been a big shuffle of the card. Go 6 months without watching Raw and things are mostly the same.

There's truth to that, but I think my issue with NXT is that it feels like the same person even though it's not. It's like the latest indy darling shows up and wins the NXT Title, they cry, they lose the belt, everyone hugs, next.
