Ehhhh.....look.....I loved The Matrix. I even loved the Animatrix. I'm going to watch it on HBO but I'm pretty much going to be expecting something at the level of 2 and 3. 2 or 2.5 star level. Not totally worth all the hate it will probably get because it isn't 1 and the heart and soul is more in the action scenes than the philosophy (1 is literally a movie that should be shown in philosophy 101 classes).

I'll go see it for the action scenes alone. Say what you will about the story of the sequels (and you can say a lot) the action was a lot of fun. The highway scene still holds up today as a fantastic sequence.
