I hope they did an episode about those dudes that swam through irradiated water to shut off some valve saving further catastrophe.
They all survived. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.the...chernobyl/amp/ |

Very much enjoying this show so far, so intense. A lot of this information would have been hidden away for ages by the State as well. Acting has been brilliant , Jared Harris is awesome as usual, the scenes in the hospital in season 3 are heartbreaking.

With respect, is it really necessary to use the 'F' word? I think most of us here would appreciate it if you showed some decorum. Aside from your unnecessary profanity however, I agree with you.

Chernobyl sounds like a new low-fat yogurt.

Watched the first episode... didn't really like it tbh... felt bored a lot... and also felt like it had a strong "anti-Soviet agenda," like was laying it on really thick with "communism is evil" stuff
I'll keep watching I guess |

I bet the episode with the three guys swimming through the death water is good. Just watch that one.

The show carries on as a slow-burner but is definitely worth the watch. Suppose it couldn’t be anything but anti-regime at the time due to the amount of cock-ups they made and the poor cover up attempts during the Cold War.

Second episode was better I guess... idk about this show still though
The creator talks a bit in the "inside the episode" things after each episode and it seems like he is probably one of those deranged people who posts about Putin and Russia nonstop on Twitter or something... And feels like that comes off a lot in the show... |
