MOyer is pitching rather nicely tonight for the M's. Normally I'd be happy about that, because I like Seattle, but not tonight, not against my Jays.

They got swept? Lol I haven't been watching enough baseball lately. One of the columns in our paper was about how the Royals, after admitting there was racial tension, adding a losing manager, all this shit, beat the red hot Yankees behind I think it was RJ.
I used to hate the Royals when they were decent (2003), but I can't now. They are just like the little brother. Their games are awesome because they just do everything for the fans, because nobody would go otherwise. |

God damned Jays. This road trip was supposed to be the trip that got them neck and neck with Baltimore. Playing sub .500 teams on a huge road trip. They are playing poorly, getting beat by no name pitchers in Seattle, Oakland, Chicago(actually they played good there) and now Houston. Now of course not all the pitchers are no namers, but a lot of them have been. Arrrrg. I wish.... ARGGGGGGG!

SSSSSSSS @ that Mets game yesterday
Marlon Anderson inside-the-park HR to tie it in the 8th.....and then in the 10th Floyd came inches away from a walk-off HR and then got the real thing a few pitches later , most exciting Mets game of the year thus far |

Flyout. He actually hit it pretty hard, just right at the center fielder. It was sweet, he hit like .640 his senior year and people were already talking MLB signings and shit. I was a sophomore and was scared shitless of him; he whiffed at my first curve, then took a changeup for a ball and then F-8'ed. Highlight of baseball career.

Sizemore must be pretty young then. I assume you are around my age (19-20), so he'd only be like 22 or so right?
There was a lot of cool shit like that in Minnesota when Joe Mauer was a senior in high school. I guess he hit some of the biggest home runs and like in his high school career only K'ed three times. You must feel like such a stud if you were one of those three. |

Do you remember that one time when the Reds were beating the Cardinals like 9-2, and then came back to win it by a run in like one inning? That was all because of Danny Graves. He gave up like two home runs. He pitched a bunch really shitty games with the Reds, then he flicked off a fan or something because they said he sucked, so that gave the Reds a good reason to fire him.

WTF GAY ASS YANKEES. Sheffield was out at first, they called him safe, next batter Posada doubles and they tie it, then win it in extras.
Although, it was worth it to see A-Rod being gunned down at the plate by 20 feet, and trying to run over the catcher and falling flat on his face while the catcher just stood there. |

I actually like what the Mets are doing right now. They are building their team a lot smarter then the Yankees.
Anyway, did anybody see Joe Mauer trip tonight? I was at the game, he hit a sweet ball to the wall in center and I swear it would have been a possible in the parker, but as he rounded first he just fell on his face. I think he might have had a chance at getting to third after the fall, but anyway. The Twins have awful first inning pitching and Justin Morneau hasn't been hitting at all lately. Torii is the man though. |
