I don't fault you for not being able to watch the show live, and not even your negative comments. If I did, I'd equally shit on AAA's negative comments, especially when, for whatever reason, he can't watch it live. I'm not claiming that AEW is perfect or without fault or criticism. I don't always enjoy everything they do myself. I fault you for your often shitty, unchallenged, after-the-fact, routine commentary. Even worse is that it's more often treated as superior by other morons who don't even bother watch the same show, despite the realities of your commentary's own faults or criticisms. It's at best pathetic analysis and/or a desperate attempt at cronyism. |

Nah, it was stupid.
Like, if they're not going to take their main event fued seriously, then why the fuck should I? |

Dunno... everyone free to challenge, and it is after-the-fact because I am watching after-the-fact. Which you said you have no issue with.
I think your issue was with the before-the-fact judging based on the picture, because I didn't have context. Being Frank (Drebin), it is not as if it was something where much context was needed. Understood it exactly from the picture, and seeing it later "with context" really didn't change my comprehension of it. |

Just got the show on...
Fish/Punk was really good. Such great chemistry between them. Fish is no joke and I hope he gets a big win soon. Punk is a classic and so solid in the ring. So glad he's back and wanting to actually wrestle guys. |

I make some positive comments here and there. A lot of neutral comments, and then, yes, some negative ones when I see fit. I am watching because they pulled me in with the promise of Punk and Bryan and I decided that after not watching any rassling for almost two years that I'd give it a shot and see what they do.... and I mean a fair shot, including watching long enough to see "the long term effects".... so I'm in it until the big PPV at least and we shall see after that! |

The MJF and Sting/Darby segment was great. Darby just has it, MJF has it, Sting has it.... Does this story ever need to end?

Mox is the fucking best. Comes in all cut up from doing death matches. Beats the hell out of everyone and leaves. I really like the mean streak and I wouldn't be surprised if it leads to a heel turn

Another great show!
Punk and Fish was good, strong pairing and I want to see Fish win soon please! I was against the Andrade and PAC addition to the Cody Malakai stuff but found myself weirdly into the Cody speech and aftermath… maybe that’s just Pacs awesomeness though. I’m not American so I can kinda take or leave the Halloween stuff in general however Page as the Marshmallow man was on point. From the reveal with the angry face to the comedy of not being able to get the suit over his shoes A+ start to finish! Oh and can we talk about the building Cole vs. Omega heat… the kiss spot, the angry moment from Cole when Kenny chose to tag in one of the Bucks, awesome foreshadowing. |

Oh an Mox just being an angry man… see him fuck up the fan kicking the barrier! Mox vs. Danielson might be the stiffest US match since Vader last decided to kill someone in ring.

Settle down dude. Lock Jaw is an amazing poster. He's a wrasslin fan who WANTS to enjoy wrasslin and legitimately tries. So what if the dude sees a pic and calls it stupid.... it was stupid. He can have his opinion and its fine. If you don't care for his opinion, as you said you've read so much, ignore it and move on.... shit, put him on ignore so you don't see it. Lock Jaw is great, Lock Jaw is good. I am a Lock Dawg. |

Also, for him of all people to complain about somebody's negative comments, come on. Every single posts he makes is calling somebody a fucking this or asshole that. As for the actual segment, its exactly what WWE has done lots of times, including with Moxley, who hates that stupid shit in WWE and hyped up AEW as not going to do that stuff, but if you dont like it in AEW well fuck you! |

Caught the rest of the show prior to the Cody segment. Great stuff. Bobby Fish has been such a great pickup. I agree with everybody saying he needs a big win soon. Love that Punk is back and hasn’t really missed a beat bell to bell. I’m ready for his next feud. A podcast i listen to suggested that instead of Punk v Wardlow per the leaked pic of Khan with his notebook, Darby/Sting/Punk v MJF and the accountabilibuddies would be better. And I agree but obvs we’re not getting that now.
I want Punk to get into something interesting for the ppv though. So far Full Gear looks really good Paige v Omega for the world title Danielson v Moxley for #1 contender Britt v Tay Conti got the women’s world title Rosa or Soho v Jade probably for the TBS title Lucha Bros v FTR 2 for the tag belts Inner Circle for MOTY and American top team Darby v MJF Plus whatever Punk will be up to |

I always like those "shocking" reveal/abmush the heel spots. Sting in a box, Randy Orton in a cake, etc. Halloween theme is perfect time to do that sorta thing too. It'd been fucking ridiculous if it wasn't Halloween.

Skip to 8:15 to get to the meat of the matter unless you enjoy *vintage* heel HHH. |

His return from quad surgery was also one of, if not THE BEST return ever.

That return was the first time I learned that returning from a major injury turned you babyface by default, because his music hitting just about blew the roof off of the building. |

That was a return pop plus an MSG pop. So double crazy. Same thing with Cena at the Royal Rumble.

Hot take : I don't understand why y'all are so anxious to have Punk in the main event already. The main event scene seems super crowded. Punk is a legend and an attraction without needing to be the main focus or look invincible when he isn't anymore or disrupt the title picture. I'm enjoying watching him go out there and wrestle his ass off against people I've never seen and people I have. He seems to be happy and having a good time with it, so I'm going to keep being happy that he's doing his thing every week, 7 years was a long ass time.

I don't think he should be in the main event scene, just would like him to do something interesting... Feels like they are maybe starting to ramp things up a bit now... An Eddie Kingston feud seems interesting
I feel like they probably have a plan and he will eventually be cool, but the "I'm really happy to be here" stuff was boring to me after like the 3rd time |

He doesn't need to be in the main event, he just needs to be given a story beyond "I'm happy to be here" and "let's shove him on every show". Hopefully the way that Bobby Fish match ended it is the start of a story...

At the risk of posting after the fact; big fan of Darby’s Jack Skellington face paint, and of Britt’s sweater, and of her referring to Reba and Hayter as “tricks”. Mox storming off after battering 10 was actually pretty cool. Also liked Cody and PAC swapping feuds.

That people are having the discussions they are about the segment is enough of a story in and of itself. For many people it was a jumping the shark moment, it seems. That’s not something you get to argue with. You don’t get to make people come back. They don’t have to cut your product slack or do the mental gymnastics you do to defend them. If you catch yourself doing it, just be aware that you are doing it.
