Why do you still watch?
Let’s be honest, wrestling is currently the shits. It’s never gonna be as interesting as the attitude era/Monday night wars again. The storylines, wrestlers and companies don’t even bother to pretend anything is real anymore.
So why do you still watch? shoot interviews for free : http://forums.projectcovo.com/showthread.php?t=1562931 Another quality shitty thread by The MAC |

Other than the Rumble, I don't watch current wrestling and haven't in a few years.

Because I have always enjoyed parts of it, and enjoy wrestling in general. The last year or so has been pretty bad overall, minus some spots here and there (mostly the ladies).
I'm looking forward to seeing what AEW can do as well. |

Mix of being too lazy to completely quit watching WWE and there still being plenty of good stuff both in and out of WWE to watch.
In terms of WWE, its pretty much a mixed bag. Still interested in watching NXT and Smackdown, fast forward or skip NXT UK and 205 Live, and at Reign of Terror or Cena 05-08 levels of low for RAW. |

I enjoy more than I dislike. Even in the weeks where Raw is terrible, there's always usually something I enjoy on the show. Quite often I'm thinking, "Man, if they did this or that, this segment/match would have been so much better" Perhaps I just have a high tolerance after years of watching, but I still stay current with every WWE show despite dwindling free time as I get older....

I don’t watch regularly anymore. I follow because I have an interest in the industry and want it to be good. I sometimes get through the odd WWE show in almost a “hate-watching” kind of way. Some people might not get it, but it feels like playing with a hangnail. It also helps me appreciate older wrestling.

I've been watching since I was 5. I'm now 32. I don't really know any different.
With that said, I don't really watch anymore. I skim through results in about five minutes, and even PPV's I get through in about an hour, if that. WWE is so dull and repetitive. I'm looking forward to see what AEW brings to the table. |

Only watch raw\smackdown highlights and the odd PPV, (generally the 4 main ones).

I just like wrestling. I don't watch most things live though. Plenty of alternatives if WWE is growing thin on you in my opinion.

If I'm watching the current product, I'm substantially more likely to actually pay attention to SDL than Raw. Raw is usually only on if I've nothing better to do on a Monday and most of the time it's background noise while I browse the internet. I'll be watching AEW from day one, hoping they succeed to give more wrestlers a viable place to make a living and maybe force WWE into giving a shit.
I'll always watch the Rumble, and being honest with myself I'll probably always watch Mania and the Raw/SDL after to see if anything interesting is upcoming in the new "season", but when it invariably goes back to being business as usual the next week I generally go right back to checking out. |

i quit watching on a regular basis. I'll tune in for specific shows like Raws after rumble or Mania but that's it. I just don't enjoy the current product. i was real into the Becky/Rousey angle, but just knew it was going to head towards a dumb storyline and it did. They brought in the McMahons AGAIN. I'm just bored with the whole authority angle. It was fine with just Becky and Rousey. Rousey was getting over as a heel and they completely fucked her heat up. it's stuff like this the last few years that turned me off from the current product

Something you are very experienced in...scratch that cause that would mean you've actually been with a woman.
Yeah it gets annoying seeing people think they could actually run wwe better than vince. Basically all y'all are qualified for saying how many stars you thought a match was. |

It's like an abusive relationship. I will watch and dislike and not care about a lot of it, but I'll think "remember the good times? It can be like that again"...... but then most of it is bad and uninteresting..... then one or two good things will actually happen and it will be like "See? We can be happy again"

Because even bad WWE is better than just about anything else on TV.
Overall, yes this past year has sucked thanks to lazy writing, start/stop pushes, and a stubborn refusal to take any real chances. That said, there has been some high moments still. Sure there has been far more stupid moments, but the good moments are still good enough to keep me coming back. |

It's a constant source of pleasure - the action and characters. Plus I maintain a website about it so I'm rather forced to keep up even though most of its coverage is WWE's history rather than present. Hence my avy!

For most people, making a few posts a day on a message board takes but a manner of minutes. If that. How long does it take you to make a post? An hour? Are you mentally disabled?

Also, it was probably slick damo who requested a ban. He doesn’t count though. He would request banning a stray wind if he could.

Also, if you take the amount of days she's been here and divide it by the number of posts Black Widow has, she's averaging a little over a post a day.

It's just a habit. Not one that I enjoy. WWE for most part is so bad. I enjoy watching the PPV's usually. I generally watch every WWE PPV and Takeover but I can't make it through a whole episode of anything WWE put on right now. It's just so phony and fake. Like pointed out in the OP, it's just like a bunch of guys pretending to do what WWF used to do. But there is not commitment or passion, it feels so phony to me right now. NJPW and AEW though, are keeping me interested.

A combination of things.
Mostly habit, I watched when I was younger, up to about 95, got back in from 98 and have watched/followed pretty much since then (just realised that’s over 20 years!!). I’m into a lot of other pop culture stuff (Game of Thrones, MCU movies, etc) but none of that is year round. Wrestling is pretty much my numbe one pastime now. It does feel like a chore a lot of the time, and is often just on in the background. I usually watch Raw, SmackDown, and NXT weekly. I sometimes catch NXT UK. I used to watch TNA/Impact, and Lucha Underground but don’t fit them in now. I’ll watch some of the Network shows, and watch a lot of stuff on YouTube such as Wrestling With Wregret, Cultaholic, WhatCulture Wrestling, OSW Review, and listen to the odd podcast, usually just the E&C one now, and Squared Circle Gazette when they post a show. This is one of about 3 or 4 websites that I frequent daily. I don’t find myself getting overly worked up about some of the decisions that have been made over the last few years, plenty of eye rolls and exasperation though. |
