I still don't understand who the hell keeps putting kendo sticks everywhere at all these events and why they even have them in the first place.

One of the ring crew members practices the martial art of kendo and keeps storing his sticks under the ring, thinking it a safe place..... and never learns his lesson.

I just turned on as Xavier/Balor went on. Really good match, Xavier totally gonna kill it with a decent singles push. Ultra charisma with that dude. Currently Drew/Big E are slapping meats in a pretty kick ass match. I may have to go back and watch some or the rest of the show. The arena/set up is awesome and the fans are really into the show. Feels like the people there are really getting into WWE.

I didn’t think it would be a terrible show, but I’m surprised at how good to seems to be coming off.
When WWE doesn’t overcomplicate things and just tells a story for a live audience, they do a much better job than they normally would. |

Xavier Woods, in theory, has got the potential to actually benefit off King of the Ring. For most guys, it’s an albatross.

I can not express how much I hate the replacement ref showing up 5 minutes later just in time to count spot. So. Stupid. Especially when he clearly can see all of the DQ offenses on his way out and just chooses to ignore them. They can handle that spot so much better than that.

As a hockey fan, NHL on TNT is a big deal. They haven't been in ESPN or any related brand in 17 years, so I'll let regular season ice boys bump my favorite wrestling program.

There's your set-up for Brock/Roman at WM38 in Dallas.
My other guess is Ronda/Becky. |

Same. It's about time they give him a chance to shine as a singles guy
Also, while we're at it, why not let all 3 New Day guys focus on that? Their group had a solid run after a shaky start trying to establish them as a heel team at first, but they could disband them as a team for good now without harming any of them. Maybe give them occasional little "reunion" appearances for fun, but yeah. |

Can’t remember if I posted this or not somewhere else:
When New Day were drafted it kind of surprised me. But I guess the idea was for Big E to stand alone. Cool. I wasn’t entirely convinced Kofi & Woods would remain a tag team though. They’ve done them and The Usos on SmackDown before (not that it would stop them now). But when I saw the whinging that SmackDown didn’t get main eventers, I knew it meant more spots for guys to step into. New Day were at the top of that list. I can see the merit in keeping them aligned forever and a day as brothers in solidarity. There’s merchandising and a feel-good story there. I can also see the merit in a feud between members. The New Day have been together for almost 7 years now (!). Has a tag team lasted that long? Honest question. Kofi could really pop as a heel. So many different ways to go about it. He can be such a magnificent prick. Woods could go heel too, but I’d rather see him earn his way as a baby. But I think they’ve entered into this strange zone where a split would genuinely be “shocking.” And the WWE needs stories beyond Roman and whatever he is doing. I worry Woods is going to do the goofy thing and act like an actual king. I hate that. He could do it better than most. But I hope they don’t do that. I worry about the tournament being an albatross more than anything. But of all potential winners in the brackets, it did feel like it “evolves” him the most. Whatever they do. It’s got this weird feeling of being a feather in his cap. I can imagine him watching Bret Hart in ‘93 and marking out. Now he gets to do it. There’s something in it. I hope the intentions are good and the results are plentiful for whoever is involved. My prediction is that Happy Corbin tries to buy his crown back and he Madcap Moss feud with The New Day for weeks. Whatever. But I feel this is a good step for Woods. I remember there was a random US Title tournament a few years ago heading into WrestleMania I actually thought he should win. It would have just been “cool” to have Woods doing something as a single for a while. I dunno. Let’s see where this goes (haunting words). |

Lol, you know this show was good because you can hear Bryan Alvarez shift nervously in his chair as he tries to brush it away as he recapped it. Got to minimalize the giant.

I watched this show.
The Saudis are either retarded or they have wayyyy to much money to spend, or most likely both. This entire show was basically what you see on RAW every Monday night. The Reigns vs Lesnar match ended in a classic RAW finish - Can be seen on RAW all the time Goldberg nearly kills himself doing a spear - Can be seen on RAW all the time 2 low end mid carders winning something that should matter ( KoTR ) only to get a half ass'ed push that will end abruptly in 3 weeks. - Can be seen on RAW all the time No one gives any fucks about the tag matches - Can be seen on RAW all the time Things I kinda liked: Xavier Woods vs Finn Balor was good but Finn should have won. It makes way too much sense to make Finn Balor the KoTR. They just continue to shit on this guy and it makes no sense Big E beating McIntyre was ok. McIntyre is another guy that is so shit on and has gotten such a bad run of cards in this company. And for fuck sakes please lose that sword. It's fucking retarded. Becky winning via cheating made sense. I didnt mind that. Average triple threat match. Edge vs Rollins was decent. I think it would be better if Edge were a full time guy, but whatever. It was good. And Goldberg nearing killing himself on that spear off the stage was the feel good story of the night. A good ole' fashioned time I didnt realize I needed. |

Metzler and Alvarez are so unbearable but the difference between the two is that when I see Alvarez talk about wrestling, I want to knife fight him. What a fucking douche bag. |
