My expectation is that AEW will still be below WWE Smackdown and Raw when Punk and Danielson are on tv. They may come close and perhaps on the right week come out just ahead. Regardless of what the ratings are it won't affect my enjoyment of seeing a new company flourish using some of the best and most interesting talents available. I'm a wrestling fan when it's good and I'm a mark when it's great. The matchups for Danielson in AEW are really exciting for me. Even if they book him against Kazarian one week, that will still be an exciting and probably fantastic match.

This is a levelheaded response unlike some of the AEW stans here. Personally, I can't wait for Danielson to wrestle Christian, Matt Hardy, Omega, Daniels, Miro, Cody, Dustin, Chavo, Andrade, Cabana, Kazarian, Hager, Moxley, Sydal, Henry, PAC, Paul Wight and countless others again. So many fresh matchups

And I would absolutely welcome Kenny, PAC, The Bucks, Daniels, Cabana or any other ROH guys he may have crossed paths with. Plus Mark Henry definitely has beef to squash with Danielson over his MITB cash in which is a huge craw in the big man's neck. And everyone on the board and twitter is clamoring for Hager/Danielson.

Realistically none of those are marquee matches. Maybe Bryan vs MJF but that too is a B-level WWE PPV match at best.
