Johan and Nathan combine for a three hit shutout, Jacque Jones home run is only hit for Twins in 1-0 victory over the White Sox.
I can't believe ESPN didn't pick this game up, Johan vs. Garcia is about as good of a pitching matchup as you can get right now in the AL. |

Nice, Reyes is on fire. He's getting his deep swing back, been hitting them like 400 feet in the past three games.

Has anyone read up on the Bradley/Kent thing in LA?
Bradley: Kent doesn't understand black players LOS ANGELES (AP) - Milton Bradley accused Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Jeff Kent of a lack of leadership and an inability to deal with black players. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4802848 |

What happens when Moron Ken Macha makes 2 or 3 little tweaks that the Miz has eben suggesting for weeks?
Mark Ellis leading off: 1-3 HR Adam Melhuse in the lineup: 3-3, double Jason Kendall's sub-.650 ops wiped from existence Whenever he makes a lineup change after an offensive drought, everyone on the team plays better. Crosby, Kotsay, and Chavez have all homered tonight. 9-0 Oakland. The Miz for AL Manager of the Year. |

Good 'ol Shilling and his holier than tho attitudes and opinions are back.
Schilling questions Palmeiro's credibility BOSTON (AP) - Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling said Wednesday that Rafael Palmeiro has "no credibility" to talk about steroids, and the Baltimore slugger's achievements should be wiped from baseball's record books. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4806414 |

Mike Jacobs: 2 HR, 2B, 1B, 4 RBI. (Four HR in four games)
Jose Reyes: HR, 3B, 1B, 4 RBI. David Wright: 2 HR, 2B, 1B, 2 RBI. Reyes is hitting like crazy. Like three home runs in his last six games or something. Last time a team won two consecutive games on the road by 13 or more runs was 1936 Yankees |

Sidney Ponson is possibly the laziest player in MLB. It's too bad because he's actually talented.

I want to know why he isn't charged with lying to congress. Strip his records, charge him with lying to congress, refund tickets to everyone who paid to see him break the record and while we're at it, take away his "little blue friend". and yeah, if it comes out true about Clemens and Damon I'd feel the same way. this new testing does punish players, but doesn't stop it, doesn't stop from Baltimore or other teams with guys on roids winning games to hurt teams like NYY and BOS. Here's one, if Giambi never did roids, he'd probably not have gone to the NYY and the Sox might have won the WS a years sooner.... That all being said, if MLB as a whole wants to vote and a majority want to take roids, I really could care less. It only harms yourself, if you want to harm yourself for our entertanement who am I to argue? It's kinda like I never understood suicide being a crime. |

I dont have any reason to believe he'll come back fully from this injury. Unless he starts hanging out in the bathroom with his buddy Raffy.

I think he'll be back, probably not this season but next season I think he should be alright. Also I don't know if I'd call Raffy his buddy since Schilling just said on the radio that Raffy is a scumbag and his records should be erased.

Also was just reading some shit in the paper. Red Sox got voted as one of the top farm systems in the MLB for this season. They got a ton of prospects - plus one of the best rookies in the draft. Sox could be realllllll serious for the next few years. Kinda reminds me of when the Yankees had all the farm guys come up + the big payroll.

Roy Halladay is out for the season. I really hope a White Sock doesn't win it, especially since Johan is much better than both of them
