Gertner told me Bill Apter believes the conspiracy stories about Benoit.
I wonder if he ever put him in a figure four? |

Although Arn wrote the book on a textbook spinebuster, I always like Batista's variant where he popped himself back up after. Like the force of the move pushes him back to his feet. Looked both brutal and fluid.
Personal favorite move? Perfect Plex. Especially the bridging pin variety. Followed closely by either a bridging German or a perfectly executed Northern Lights (like Alicia Fox's) And I will never not mark out for a Regal Stretch. |

Oh man, I think I need to go and watch some Goldust matches from when I wasn't watching wrestling because that "final cut" move is cooler than hell.

Speaking of Goldust he had a nice snap on his powerslam.

True but if you watch a compilation you'll notice every now and then the recipient will essentially dive into the slam before he has his hand on them so the crowd dies and it looks and sounds awful.
I think Stone Cold said that was his favourite powerslam though. Last edited by Seanny One Ball; 12-20-2019 at 07:37 PM. |

His are the classic style I think. Hauling someone around using your own power rather than purely their momentum.

Goldust's looks better if it's done perfectly I reckon. The best powerslam I ever saw was Bradshaw and Taka vs Kaientai at Over The Edge 1998. I think Dick Togo does it on Taka.
I seem to remember Farooq having a good old school powerslam but he was so strong it looked absolutely ridiculous. Pretty much everything Ron Simmons did should have been a finisher. |

I HATED Farrooq's powerslam. He just kinda picks him up and drops him.
Love DiBiase's. Brock Lesnar had a really good one early in his career. I don't really care for Orton's and Goldust. Not a fan of the snap powerslam. Last edited by Bad News Gertner; 12-21-2019 at 02:05 AM. |

There was no licking involved with Farooq's powerslam.
