Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast
I don't think I've created a topic in like 5 years.
nothing special, but if you are bored there's an excellent podcast show with Bruce Prichard in the link below. There's a lot of behind the scenes talk of the WWE from the 80's, 90's and 2000's with Prichard. I learned a ton of cool shit that went on. The discussion about Survivor Series 97 here made me remember they did an episode about it. Enjoy http://www.mlwradio.com/something-to...-prichard.html |

Lol my hatred of that podcast runs deep.
You only learned the nonsense that Prichard spews. He's so full of shit that it's coming out his ears |

It’s pretty easy to tell when he’s full of shit, thanks to Conrad, so if you can decipher Bruce’s BS you kinda get the whole story.

I really enjoy Tony Schiavone’s podcast also.
The Sean Mooney podcast has some potential now. I couldn’t really stand listening to Jim Duggan ramble on for over an hour Last edited by Juan; 11-10-2017 at 07:25 PM. |

Yeah, especially Duggan telling the same stories over and over. Schiavone's podcast is fun.
Edge and Christian are the kings of wrestler podcasts |

Yeah, no doubt. That’s the podcast that makes me laugh out loud the most. Just listened to the Brian Gerwitz episode and I was dying the whole time

Lol that episode was amazing. The story about Edge, Lita and Cena's dad was the greatest lol

Yeah there's something about Bruce that I just don't enjoy. Maybe it's that nagging feeling that you know he is, at times, full of it, and it kind of smears the good stories and actual moments of insight because you're always wondering where the spin is. And at times his perspective is so very 'WWF' that you just shake your head.
E&C show has really grown on me over the last month or so. Crazy Like A Fox - The Definitive Chronicle of Brian Pillman 20 Years Later **Featuring interviews with members of the Pillman family, Dave Meltzer, Kim Wood, Raven, Jim Cornette, Mark Madden, Shane Douglas, Mark Coleman, Alex Marvez, Les Thatcher and many more close friends and colleagues** Available on Amazon now: http://amzn.to/2h93SxL |

Plus the constant crapping on Jerry Jarrett who a lot people now believe is a joke and not one of the more important people in wrestling history is tiresome and well as his "feud" with Dave Meltzer.

I've listened to a few that I've enjoyed, as long as you do go in to them knowing that they've got that working filter on, but something about Bruce rubs me the wrong way. He reminds me of used car salesman, and I don't really enjoy his "jokes" either. He gets this podcasting thing though. If he's not huge, he gives you the impression he's huge.

I only just got into this and I have to say I love it.
I think because I'm an adult mark and I just wolf down any and all stories that I can enjoy it more. I acknowledge there is a ton of bullshit, I can cross reference so many books and other podcasts that at least 51% of Prichard stories have a chunk of bullshit in them. Still, it is a valuable resource for funny stories and I honestly really like Bruce Prichard now. I've not watched TV or seen one movie in the last 4 or 5 days because I'm doing at least 6 hours of this every time I listen. Conrad is just my shit. I love that little bastard. |

Corny is still King, JR and Bruce ain't far behind though.
Never once listened to Edge and Christian. Not sure if I have time yet. I want to deep dive that shit. |

Conrad Thompson is gold. Schiavone is my favorite just because their chemistry is the best and Tony is loveable. I like Bruce’s too just because I grew up on WWF and Conrad cancels out the bullshit well. Their episode on Gorilla Monsoon was a great listen. There isn’t enough content out there about Gorilla and Bruce seemed to know him well.

Schiavone podcast eh? That has to go on the list too now.
Damn. I have Arn on there and I just don't see me getting through Prichard anytime soon. Maybe I'll get fed up soon but so far every episode has been so well formatted and so funny I just don't see it happening anytime soon. Top episodes I've heard are Corny in WWE, Million Dollar Man, Rick Rude, Brawl For All, Heyman in WWE and Vince Russo. The event specific ones are golden for stories. |
