Johan will win the Cy, just because he is a force and your favorite pitcher doesn't match up. You can't hate Johan though, you can hate me, but he hasn't dont anything to warrant a bad rep to this point.

In seriousness, when did Colon become good or whatever? He just all of a sudden jumped in as the leader for Cy.

all the White Sox have to do tomorrow afternoon is win and they are the 2005 AL Central Champs!

because even if Cleveland wins tomorrow it'll be a 3 game lead with 3 games to go but Chicago has the Head-2-Head tiebreaker. The Indians could sweep the Sox this weekend and tie the division but that head to head makes it impossible for them to take the division outright.

I could see the White Sox going to round 2, for some reason I think the playoffs will be White Sox, Indians, Yankees, Angels with the Indians and Yankees in the ALCS. Then again I still don't know hwo the baseball playoffs are drawn so that might not even be plausable.

Now, if I understand correctly, if the Sox and Yanks tie, but Cleveland has a worse record, there is no playoff, the divison goes to the team with the better head to head (which would be the Yankees) and the WC goes to the other team, they don't have a playoff when both teams would make it.

In the back where? On the big poster it's Babe Ruth. That poster is fucking awesome. It's a huge map with all the teams (at the time: 1990) logos on thier respective states and it has a few statistics for each team. Has some old statdium pictures at the top and has these art like player pictures all over the place. You can see the Twins logo from that pic

There's a guy near work sells shirt and hats and stuff outside, always has shirts like the kid with a sox shirt pissing on a yankee hat, or "make the world a better place, punch a yankee fan in the face". His new sign is "The Yankees don't suck, their fans do".

Today he had a bunch of Yankee hats in the road like a speed bump and was yelling at people to drive over them.

Really funny, some guys I know who are Yankee fans drive by and he gets all riled up, has those big foam hands and taped them so it's giving the finger and when he sees them, he put them on and flips them off.

I just get a laugh when people take it too seriously!

Yeahh Legend not the biggest baseball fan but it would be cool to see the Phillies make the playoffs. Just need the Cubs to win.

Yanks made some shit mistakes last night. god, I hate watching them when they play like crap. Just makes me mad. Hopefully they can just get 1 game over the next two. And hopefully The Chi Sox will beat the Tribe at least once more.

I've had the game on the radio, didn't think Wake would get hit this hard, figured it would be a close game.

Anyway, so tomorrow you could have both teams the winner and loser celebrating a playoff birth

So, if the Sox lose today, then the sox need a win tomorrow, 2 cleveland wins to force a playoff game for the Divison.

I dunno, normally I'd say screw it, just get the WC and get in the playoffs, last year that worked, but this team does really crappy out of Fenway v. in Fenway.

Wouldn't it be great if the playoff game comes down to the last out of the 9th, Belhorn at bat, Stanton pitching
