I feel like the TV Title should be for the weekly TV midcard workhorses. The title you can see defended constantly for free on TV by tomorrow’s stars while the World Title is something you have to pay to see. I’m a fan of well-defined purposes for every title as opposed to the current WWE style where midcard titles are just props that need not exist.

yeah it was pretty perfectly booked until sammy won it. much better booked than the world or tag titles.

It’s gettingbetter booking with Sky getting rid of the open challenge. Sammy having an open challenge didn’t have the same importance as Cody. Sky making people earn it and using segments to build matches is a breath of fresh air. He’s also a better talker than Sammy. Ideally this current run is a return to the TNT title being worth something.
