Last.FM plugin and Windows Media Player

Yo,

Frequently, my plug-in for Last.FM scrobbling gets unchecked in the Windows Media Player pull-down for plug-ins, effectively disabling it. I'm not selecting anything. I rarely even use any options but the play commands (play/pause/skip) on the main user interface.

I have no idea why this is happening. Anyone got a clue?

Running Windows 7 and WMP 12.

I did a quick google search, and most of the answers don't relate to my problem.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
