Doctor: Michael, you have inoperable bowel cancer.
Michael: Could it be? Doctor: It is. Sigh, maybe some day. |

Jesus, Graves is extra unbearable when Corbin, Alexa Bliss and Mandy Rose are in the ring. The NXT commentary team is lightyears ahead of this combination.

I like how the WWE constantly plays it off like the King of the Ring has any sort of power only to never ever utilize it

They should do this with King of the Ring and with other things. For a company that gets so much production praise, they really do confirm themselves to the straight and narrow. |

Has King of the Ring ever helped anybody? Owen Hart, maybe? Did Kurt Angle really get a boost from winning it?

I consider Brock one of the more successful King of the Rings, but it’s not like the tournament itself helped him. |

Michael Cole ruining that false finish with his call.

I’m glad Corbin won, because it might mean he’ll be mid-card for a long time.

Gable vs Corbin was great but at WWE reviving King of the Ring just for Corbin to win it.
Probably the best series of matches Corbin has had on the main roster but still hilarious that was the end result WWE wanted. |

Did Columbo have a glass eye, or was it just Peter Falk that had a glass eye.

A face hasn't won since 2001 as they want to change the gimmick of the winner into a literal king.

I’m sure that winning King of the Ring will do wonders for Corbin’s career, just ask Wade Barrett.

Comparatively, the King of the Ring is more an anchor. You can be getting a push and then the tournament ruins it. The guy I will say it helped is Booker T. The King Booker gimmick may have mixed critical response, but it did put Booker in the SmackDown main events. |
