AEW repeat commercials remind me of when the BIG Network first started. There were like 2 commercials. The Perfect Push-up and Wolf Brand Chili (which is awesome for canned chili)

Pretty good episode of Dynamite this week.

In-ring stuff was more towards the weaker side but the story-based stuff was very good.

Bit surprised at no Lance Archer debut.

Crazy how consistently good every episode is

Like I keep expecting them to kinda "phone it in" every once in a while or run out of ideas but like every episode seems like it has so much effort put into it to try to make it really good

Too conditioned to watching shitty WWE... surprised when planning and effort is put into a show

So fn intrigued about Jake Roberts. That was so unexpected and awesome. Again Cody is the best at everything it seems. Amazing segment.

The opening tag was really good for me but nothing else lit it up like the main event. They are doing well with Darby, classic stuff.

Yeah tonight's show should have been that case due to the weak card but the story-related stuff helped carry the show.

Even something like the main event felt like it would be very predictable going in, especially after Jericho teased about leaving. Instead Inner Circle won to add more fuel to their feud with Moxley but Darby shinned a lot from the sudden handicap match.

I would have to guess Vince has CTE. He took unprotected chair shots starting when he was 50, got the most brutal of all the Randy Orton punt kicks, hell just 2 years ago he took a clean headbutt from K.O.

That isn't even factoring in all the youth fighting or his motorcycle crash in 1993 or 1994, whenever that was.

Honestly, I appreciate the quality too. It was a great show, and, unfortunately, eventually there will be "weak" shows... there haven't been yet though... and that's because the folks in charge aren't absolute fucking morons. Meanwhile, the complete idiots in WWE, couldn't write a believable note to get them out of a day fo fucking elementary school, let alone a single quality TV show and/or coherent storyline.

Jake Roberts managing is pretty cool, but he's a shitty human being. The more I hear about certain talent in AEW, the more I fucking hate them. Darby Allin bragged about paying a heroin addict to dunk his head in an unflushed toilet for money on Jericho's podcast. He's obviously talented though. If he's managing Brodie Lee, that could be something. Hopefully they don't drop it in a week. Where is Tully Blanchard?
