TPWW Survivor XXXVI - From Cosmic Wasteland to The Elite Zone (King Gertner's Ascension Edition)

Rules:

• Everybody selects TWO people from the AEW roster, ONE representing Singles and the OTHER representing Married / Tag Teams. Due to the smaller pool of wrestlers, the women's division has been seperated, with half going to each parent group as part of the divorce settlement. The grouping of the children has been selected at random in accordance with the legal system. No duplicates allowed. If the contest hasn't yet started, you can change your selection once by making a new post saying you're changing your selection (don't just edit your original post).
• Your wrestler is eliminated if he or she submits or is pinned during a televised or streamed match on Dynamite, Dark or a PPV event. Disqualifications, count outs, or being eliminated from a battle royale does not cause elimination. In multi-man matches (tag, triple threat, etc.), only the person who is pinned or submits is out. We also sanction unsanctioned matches here. NXT still does not count.
• In the event of a match finishing via KNOCKOUT, the Small Council of Elders have met and come to the majority decision that from season XXVII onwards a KNOCKOUT will count as an ELIMINATION.
• Your wrestler will also be eliminated if he or she goes three weeks without having a "televised" match in an AEW ring for any reason whatsoever (injury, future endeavors, etc.). There is a constant countdown going on from your wrestler's last match, so even if bad luck happens - you can still potentially win as long as everyone else loses in that span. As AEW appear to be utilising weeks off (such as Christmas), the countdown clock will be frozen on any weeks where no shows occur. In the event of two or more competitors being eliminated on the same day due to this rule and that impacting on podium positions (rank 1-3), the wrestler positions will be determined by time of last performance (meaning main eventing is more valuable than opening). In addition, the three week ruling will occur at the end of a show if one is running concurrent to the cut off date, meaning anyone who loses on the show will place lower than whoever gets three week'd. PLEASE NOTE: A WRESTLER MUST PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST ONE MATCH TO EARN A PLACE ON THE PODIUM. In the unlikely event that less than three wrestlers remain after the initial three weeks, podium slots will default to those who survived the longest by conventional means. In other words IF YOU WANT THE AWARD YOU MUST ATTEND. If you suffer a ban for the length of the game you will be disqualified. If you suffer a ban for the length of the game you will be disqualified.
• If you win you get your choice of either first pick next season or two picks for the next season. If you take the option of two picks, you must wait until at least FIVE other people have selected in order to prevent you from becoming The Skippord. If you are inactive upon winning to the creation of the next season, you will not get first pick and instead get 2 picks. In accordance with previous versions of this rule, new seasons will only be created after a minimum wait period of two days.
• A wrestler must be an active participant in a match for it to reset the three-week timer. Lumberjacks, special referees, managers, "enforcers," guest commentators, etc. do NOT count.
• At the end of the season the winner will get the choice to switch the game between AEW and WWE. While the opposite company is in control, any wrestlers with season bans will be frozen in place. In the extremely unlikely event any of the currently "ineligable" game winners jump ship between seasons they WILL take their time out clock with them and be ineligable before time expires.

Sign-ups are allowed until the start of the pre-show / buy in for the 29th February 2020 edition of AEW Revolution at the start of the show, in the beginning of this night, right then, on Saturday 29th February, on this day, eliminations will be eliminated, starting on this show, on the WWE television, in the name of Goldust.

Winning wrestlers must sit out 3 seasons before returning. As this is the first season of Elite, everybody is eligible. Currently frozen in time over in WWE - "Iron Boy" Tony Nese aka "Lord of Winterfell" Tony Stark is out for winning Season 33. The Ivar Experience is out for winning Season 34. Aleister Black is out for winning Season 35.

For winning season XXXV, King Gertner has not only decreed the debut season for AEW in TPWW Survivor, but arranged for his two subjects to be clad in gold. He has selected the AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho & the AEW Womens Champion Nyla Rose. Long live King Gertner!

I will be participating in the game, but in the interest of fairness, I won't make my pick until at least ten pairs wrestlers have been selected and will then who will I choose? Who knows!? Probably Orange Cassidy. Dunno.

*Omega & Page might be tag champs but they're singles guys and everyone knows it!
**If you really REALLY want to, I will allow rumoured signings Brodie Lee, Matt Hardy and Lance Archer to be eligible picks. They will take up your slot in the Singles division if you choose to do so.

They've been very good at protecting Jericho.....only thing is they've also been very good at protecting Mox. I legit have no clue who will win Sunday but AEW don't typically do countouts or DQs. I think both guys won't be eating a pin for a while otherwise.

Lack of New Japan actually did, I've been pretty much off wrestling since it stopped. Omega actually won this months ago when Mox pinned Hager in an empty arena match. Gimme a fucking mic. Have zero interest in WWE now and I have no idea what's going on there, wanted to wait until most of the roster came back before we moved to AEWs second season. I've seen a few clips here and there.
