So now that the Better Business Bureau has said the Mass Effect 3 controversy does constitute false advertising, think people will shut the fuck up about "entitlement?"

After putting in some time this weekend, I ended up getting 4 Premium Spectre packs. The only things worth mentioning are:

  • +1 medi-gel, so now I carry 3 on my person.
  • Geth SMG II
  • Geth Pulse Rifle
  • Kishock Harpoon II
  • a few characters I probably won't use


Kinda glad I don't have time to get another 100k now, as I'm pretty sick of playing.

To be fair, the BBB isn't really a significant win. Since they have no real authority, all they can do is drop EA's rating.

I do think it kind of solidifies the complaint, but action from the FTC would be more a win.

Don't get me wrong, if you play with people that communicate, and know what they're doing, you're good to go. I hate getting stuck with assholes who are high levels, but always run off on their own and then get raped by Brutes, Banshees, or Phantoms and then bitch at you for not rushing in and reviving them because they don't want to use their medi-gel.

According to Bioware, Sony has just started to work with them to get the weekend challenges to become available for PS3 owners of the game.

EGM thinks the original reason why Sony refused might have been related to how Bioware uploads data to PSN servers and didn't want to allow anyone to access PSN without their permission.

UK's Advertising Standards Authority clears EA and Bioware from false advertising charges for the UK region in regards to Mass Effect 3 and the issue of your choices do not really influence the game's final ending.

The multi-colored endings are good enough to be considered as keeping the promise EA and Bioware stated the series would fulfill with player choices.

1.9 GB of info. According to Bioware, you need to play from the Cerberus base onward to get the full effect of the ending. Well, looks like I'm starting over from scratch then!

I downloaded this and was about to start playing it and then I realized I can just watch them on youtube.










It seems like Control is the best ending whereas Destroy doesn't make sense. Humans are just going to rebuild the relays by themselves? They have that knowledge now? Jeez, you merely put the final touches on one Prothean superweapon that has taken a bunch of civilizations eons to complete and now you have the balls to try and re-create the relays? How exactly?

Sythesis is ...weird? I dunno, it's a neat alternate option to have but it's just...freaky. Seeing them with lit up green eyes is off-putting and makes it seem like they're soulless zombies for the rest of eternity. But EVI gets upset at the end so there's obviously something there. It just seems like there's this underlying message there of synthetics destroying your soul/humanity.

Not many adding their two cents on the EC. What did yall think?

I say they took one of the worst endings I have ever seen (from a story this well done anyway) and made it into a bleh WWE storyline ending that never gave us the true payoff they built it up to be. So basically from a 1 to a 3.5. At least the slideshow had different scenes for my Paragon and Renegade Shepps.

Other than that, I mostly agree with Tommy Gunn.
