The problem with xrod is that he IS an intelligent poster. I'm never surprised when he makes a valid point, but I stopped interacting when it became clear that he was actively choosing to play the jester and mostly make far reaching criticisms for his own amusement, when there are plenty of legit, more obvious arguments to be made against aew. You can tell by how carefully he chooses what posts he responds to. Anyone makes a counterpoint good enough, he ignores it completely.

He doesn't break character enough to genuinely add discussion to the forum, so I don't really care if he leaves, regardless of how hard up we are for new blood.

Yeah it is pretty misplaced hate, I did not say I was glad he got hurt, or he deserved it or anything harsh. It is the same thing countless wrestlers have said about younger generations, work smarter not harder.

Fenix is really good, and would still be really good without taking so many risks.

Just because Tony Khan is a money mark and Phil can't cut a promo without bringing up WWE, well that does not change the fact that Fenix is too good to be risking his well being constantly.

They are mad I took a shot at Tony and Phil, but instead of posting they were upset I did that, they tried to act righteous by pretending I was cool with Fenix getting injured.

Tony Khan is a jackass, Phil is bitter over something from 10 years ago, and Fenix deserves MUCH better. Suck on that snowflakes!

I agree with most of xrod’s criticism. However, his approach is extremely cringeworthy. I doubt he’ll leave over something like that. He’s a wrestling forum staple for better or worse.

Its literally been 6 days, since Tony Khan spazzed out on New Years Eve, that I have randomly inserted a joke about Tony Khan being racist. Maybe a total of 5 posts that I "shoehorned" it in where it had nothing to do with anything. And yes, that was by design, but still.

I dont get why everyone is piling on xrod for what he said about Fenix. The dude is always getting hurt and it's usually because he pushes the envelope so far that it's an inevitability. Think of how many times he's fallen face first to the mat or ontop of his head. The dude is resilient no doubt but he is also highly valuable and needs to work smarter.

Also while I'm a big fan of Tony in general, he's definitely subject to plenty of shit talk because he is a fucking nerd and only has friends because he's very rich. Still love his passion for wrestling but I wish he would STFU.
