Did AEW debut two wrestlers named Johnny in the same night?

The PPV looks great even though getting there has been crap. Way too much WWE stuff going on here. ROH needs a TV and needs to take away some of these people floating in the muck of Everest.

I hate that Bryan Danielson has barely said a word since he joined the dumb ass Blackpool Combat Club... feels like he is basically shelved from the roster, which seems bad since he's prob their best wrestler... such a waste
He doesn't need William Regal on the mic for him... Regal is brutal on the mic imo... I know every1 loves him but damn |

Blackpool Combat Club is "fine" I guess for now but just hope it doesn't last too long... War Games match will be cool, but then what... hope it is leading to something eventually where Danielson can split from Moxley

Seriously hope the hobbling was because his leg was just asleep from being pinched in there for 10 minutes.

In the video, it looks like he's in pain, but could also just be struggling to try to free himself. Looks like he's trying to pull his leg out and if it was badly hurt, they would try to be more careful with it. Hopefully nothing serious...

If Bryan’s career ends because this company can’t get its shit together…
Oh well, it’s his choice to be there, I guess. |

I want to see Hangman as TNT champion when his World reign is over. Give it a minute to breath but Hangman just tearing it up weekly as TNT champ and he becomes the first grand slam champ would be good shit all round.

Watched this morning.
I was happy with the Jokers. Johnny FittingLastName is always a welcome addition, I don't necessarily need to see him signed but I love the idea of him just floating around as a guest at numerous promotions and doing his thing. Maki Itoh is fun. I know some people were calling for Athena or Claudio or whatever but debuting them with losses wouldn't have made a lot of sense, plus the roster's packed as is. I went into the tourney assuming there was no way Britt or Cole are missing the PPV and the brackets have shaped out for that, Cole's already clinched his spot and I'll be kinda stunned if Britt doesn't advance as well. Actually surprised that Britt/Toni is a semifinal match rather than configuring the bracket to do a fresh match like that at the PPV instead of Britt vs. Ruby 2. But I guess if Shida were healthy it would've been Britt vs. Shida 2 instead. KOR/Fenix was my MOTN with Page/Takeshita as a close second. Really impressed with what I've seen from Takeshita the last few outings, I believe his US excursion is meant to be a lengthy one so I'd be happy to see him stick around for a while. I've been loving the entire Wardlow/MJF angle, I really can't wait to watch Wardlow powerbomb that dude through the mat, the roof is gonna blow off the building. Nothing felt actively bad but like others have said it felt like they had to kinda rush through the last half hour. I didn't mind Jericho and Regal's verbal sparring but it could've been shorter, we got the point very quickly. I did pop for Mox saying he wasn't gonna do that Stadium Stampede shit though. I'm all for a bigass gang warfare match so I'll enjoy that one. All told a decent Dynamite, nothing crazy but keeps DoN shaping up nicely. |

Watching Dynamite now.
Love Johnny. Him and Joe was an entertaining match. Hangman / Takeashita was fucking great. Punk really added a lot to the storyline on commentary as well. Really enjoy the story they're telling. Takeshita has been super impressive in his 2 matches. The AEW tag division might be my favorite part of the show at this point. Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus, Lee/Swerve, and Starks/Hobbs are all freaking wonderful. Not to even mention FTR, the Lucha Bros, Butcher and Blade, the Hardys...just great. The tag team matches are a highlight every single week. |

MJF and Wardlow are can't miss too. I hope their match delivers as much as their segments have.
