Billy Graham never had a single good match. He is the single most influential wrestler of all time.
Graham in a no contest. |

I'm only familiar with Graham through his piss poor commentary. So via ignorance, I go with Piper

shit, have no idea how to call this. if not for the Network and DVD's, this would be much easier, but it's going to be tough not to pick Graham. let me think on this

Piper was never the man. Never put all of your chips on the table and put it all on him. No. It's Billy Graham.

I'm voting for...THE MAN OF THE HOUR, THE MAN WITH THE POWER, TOO SWEET TO BE SOUR! WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, BUT WHAT YOU DON'T SEE IS BETTER YET!
Superstar mother fucking Billy Graham. Lol just for the love of God don't watch anything of his post WWWF title reign. He also had unquestionably the greatest heel champion run of all time. Love, love, love Billy Graham. |

If there was no Billy Graham, there would be no Hulk Hogan. So an easy choice - Graham.

What Graham did for promos is where hogan comes into play. Not just the blonde hair and physiques

K I'm drunk so I'm posting another comment.
I've never seen a wrestler get so unwatchable so fast as I did with Graham. Fantastic seller. Great facial expressions. Got too fucked up on drugs and it pretty much cost him everything. Especially when he came back in 82 with a Karate gimmick. Lost all his muscle mass, shaved his head and became downright dreadful. They actually cut short his return feud with Backlund because he was so awful. |

Piper although more due to watching a lot more of his stuff and very little of Graham's stuff. Mainly know about Graham for the WWF champ record he had as a heel.

Piper.
Billy Graham was mostly before my time, I haven't seen enough of him to put him over Piper. I've never had a time where I didn't enjoy Piper on TV, whether it's wrestling, cutting a promo or managing a wrestler. So Piper it is. |

Piper sprayed guys in the face with fire extinguishers and smashed them with coconuts. Graham didn't. Piper all the way because all he did in life is kick ass and chew bubble gum, and he's all outta bubble gum.

Without Graham there is no Hogan, Graham's legacy is far bigger than Piper's.

Graham being an innovator is cool and all. He deserves credit for it. But it also means he wasn't even the best Billy Graham of all time.
No one ever out-Pipered Piper. |

I wish there was a website that aggregated financial stats regarding wrestlers and let you sort of compare how much they made over their career, how much per year, etc. Obviously you'd have to estimate and there's a lot of subjectivity on who gets credit for a house, but it'd still be fun. This isn't a wash like last round. |

I think Meltzer or someone made a list factoring in a bunch of things to make an "objective" list of the top draws of all time. I remember it being kinda weird.

Yeah. It credited Triple H as being a bigger draw than Austin, simply because Triple H was put into main events of more mediocre PPVs than anyone else.

The notion that a pioneer wasnt the "best" at his bit isnt valid. Everyone got the idea from him. You cant be the best at your act when everyone does it for the next 30 years.
Pipers bit wasnt worth repeating. |

I'm pretty sure there's a shitload of guys who wish they could repeat what Piper did as a heel.
And I'm pretty sure WWE would kill to have another guy who could repeat what Piper did as a heel. |
