PAC vs Darby was very good overall.
PAC vs Pirate Moxley next week should be great |

I'm in the minority, but I think Pac should be the guy in AEW. Everything he goes looks great, he cuts great promos with off the chart intensity, and the whole bastard gimmick means he can go up against anybody, even other heels.
If I'm booking, I'm putting the belt on Pac. |

All Moxley is missing is Jericho's spike being stuck to his head and he'd pull off the Punished/Venom Snake look.

Much better show this week for Dynamite.
Felt better paced overall and only real sore spot was the women's tag match because the NC still is a bad group and gimmick after all these weeks. |

I'm pleased but not surprised. They've done a pretty good job of course correcting week to week. They cut out most of the extraneous bullshit this week that killed the show last week and went back to mostly back-to-back action.
There were still plenty of angle/character advancement segments, like the Dark Order, Cody's promo, the Mox eye stabbing, etc., but they were all just as long as they needed to be and didn't overstay their welcome. |

Yes, it was way better than last week. Off the top of my head, the only downside was the bald Nightmare Collective chick.

I don't think he himself needs the championship, but I think it would be better for both they championship and the contenders. Jericho is a legend, and him being the first champ provided credibility, but id rather have a stand alone working heel champ at this point, especially with the time span inbetween PPVs.

This was a much, much, much better episode than last week. I didn't catch the women's tag stuff, or the clusterfuck stuff, but most of the rest was really good.
Evident to me they need to scrap Omega and The Bucks as bookers. The Dark Order, the women's division and the drunk Adam Page stuff is the worst fucking shit on the show and it does drag down everything else. But the singles men stuff was booked really well tonight, and it flows really well in and out of each other. |

PAC is so fucking good. He was one of my favorite workers when he was in WWE, and he's gotten even better. The little heel stuff he did was excellent. So fucking good. Darby held up his end too. Needs better gear, but he's got the physical charisma to connect to audiences.

MJF is a fucking gem. The way he was selling for Page was like he really did get to bang one of his daughters.

Like Rey Fenix in a singles match, but I wish he had a better opponent than Joey Janela.

This week was great.
The opening tag was fun. And Hangman is really coming along. I love his new booze schtick he seems to be running with. His spilling a drink in Daniels and threatening to kick all of their assess, followed by dork Omega, was a fun segment. I love the direction they're taking with him. Cody promo was good as always. The Nightmare Collective stuff is just meh. It's not clicking. And it's bringing down what could be a really fun division now that Shida (who I'd marry) and Statlander are gaining momentum and getting over. Joey Janella sucks. He's not charismatic. He looks shit. I'm intrigued by Sabian so I'm hoping Janella is just fodder to help build up Kip. The Moxely v Guevara match was great. The ending segment was stellar. And the broadcast crew putting over the fact that Moxley is a lone wolf and that's why nobody was coming to help was great. The 6 man was fun enough. DDP was fun. QT Marshall is the perfect underdog jobber. And I'm forever amazed at how fucking quick and agile Dustin Rhodes at this stage in his career. Pac is the fucking man. He's so damn good. I think it's clear Moxley is going to be the next champ. I can see Pac being the man who takes the belt off him. Darby is going to need a big win here one of these days. He keeps losing all these big matches, and while they've been the right decisions, I think au some point you have to give him a high profile win before he just becomes a jobber to the stars. Overall fun show. Had a blast watching. |

Said it in the other thread but might as well elaborate on it here. Camera work was awful this week. Missed a lot of crucial parts of the show. Missing DDP's bang drop at the entrance is bad but then they didn't catch the end of the match. Couple other spots later but they completely dropped the ball on the presentation aspect of DDP's return.

Eh, they're dead brands to them. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if they did keep on the trademarks, but I don't think they're sweating the return of BattleBowl.
