I was in Dublin over the weekend and just noticed Napoleon Dynamite was playing in a cinema down there, so I thought Of Triple Gay and went to see it.
As soon as the first line was uttered, I cracked up (Whatever I FEEL like, GOSSSH). Everything was hilarious. |

I've spent the past couple of days remembering bits of it and laughing in public, in that stupid way you do when you remember something funny that happened. Like the scream uncle Rico lets out when his van gets hit by an orange.

For like two weeks I kept randomly thinking about when he and Kip were in the diner and Kip was telling him about his online girlfriend and Rico just kept looking down at his muscles while he would push them out and stuff. Then I would start to laugh.

I want to see this again.
I don't know if I have ever seen a film where the very first line made me piss myself laughing, then i just kept laughing all the way through. I am going to adopt that thing he does when someone pisses him off really badly, where he closes his eyes and goes "uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh" under his breath. |

Maybe you have to watch it a second time. The second time I saw it was way more ROFL than the first. The first time I saw it, I was like "LOL wtf did I just watch?" I didn't know what to think. Then I saw it again and knew it was the best movie ever. |

I like this movie a lot, but people really need to stop hanging off Napoleon's jock...especially with the impersonations and whatnot. It was good, but is it neccessary to recite all the lines like it's Caddyshack?

They don't play that stuff at our theaters, so not many people know about it in Seymour. No imitations here.

There is this nerd who is almost exactly like Kip at my school. He has that effeminate voice, and big ugly glasses. He always wants a high five from me. Creepy.
Also, Pedro shaving his head had me cracking up. |

Kip reminded me of that guy who played Weigel's boyfriend in a few episodes of Reno 911. They act and look EXACTLY like each other.

I saw it while I was snowed in at my fraternity the other day. Hilarious stuff. I think my favorite part is when Napoleon is standing by his locker, and that jock comes up and checks him into the locker. As the jock walks away, Napoleon throws a kick at him. Hilarious.
Either that or when Rex tells Kip to attack him, and he throws a slow ass sweep kick. Or "You're just jealous because I've been talking to hot chicks online all day". I'll definitely have to watch this again, maybe even buy it. |
