On one hand, that opening segment with Fiend, Retribution, and Hurt Business was pretty short by RAW standards and a rare time RAW doesn't open with a talkie.

On the other hand, barely anything actually happened.

On one hand, Tag champs not losing a non-title match to lazily set up a title match was refreshing but on the other hand that women's 4-way tag match was not that good.

Also Jax and Baszler now have no real challengers since they just beat all the teams that wanted to go after their belts.

WWE should just get rid of the women's tag titles since outside of some moments with Sasha & Bayley, its been booked and handled the worst out of all the belts on the main roster.

WWE turning the fake crowd audio nob too dam high sort of drowned out most of Elias' masterpiece though. Just hate how they go overboard with the fake crowd audio ever since they started messing with it with the "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever"

Kingston vs. Sheamus was pretty good.

Ali admitting he was the mysterious hacker finally brought closure to that storyline WWE forgot about months ago. at him trying to give a meaning promo after Retribution got treated as just a big joke earlier in the show.

Match was whatever but this El Grando Gordo guy has a bright future in WWE if he sticks around.

Maybe a bit too large for the 205 Live and Cruiser division but an exception can easily be made after that fine display of lucha wrestling he showed off tonight. RAW could always benefit with another quality lucha wrestler in its ranks.

Orton's promo was decent.

RAW itself was mostly average. It wasn't that bad in terms of quality but wasn't really that interesting either.

For a go-home show it was somewhat horrible though considering it didn't really build anything for the PPV outside of the WWE title match which is the only RAW match on the card so far.

I honestly believe there are only two reasons why those belts are even a thing:

The second reason was the whole plan, but hastily slapped together that tourney to stop talented names from going elsewhere. They already don't treat tag teams like anything at all except excuses to throw together random singles guys in odd couple angles. When they actually HAVE teams, they are treated like garbage and often split up for no reason. Because of that, I don't understand why there are even RAW and Smackdown tag titles, since there are barely enough functioning teams to make that viable or exciting even without Vinces's distaste for tag team wrestling. To have a women's division set is just frivolity.

That used to be true, but not the last 2 years or so.

Remember how Andrade got drafted to Raw, so Zelina went to Raw, but then Charlotte got drafted to Smackdown, so WWE just reversed/ignored that Andrade and Vega got drafted, and put them right back on Smackdown? Then they split up Ricochet and Aleister Black so he could go with Zelina to SD?

Then remember the next year when even though SD on Fox heavily promoted Charlotte, she got drafted back to Raw, so Andrade got to go back to Raw, thus Vega got drafted to back to Raw, which then meant Aleister Black had to get drafted to Raw, even though they broke up his tag team and assigned him to Smackdown to begin with!

Shit is hard to keep track of lol

yeah i still don't get why she signed a 5 year contract when rusev was holding out i figure she would wait on him. then she would have been fired when he was.

Is The Hurt Business face now after all those months of repetitive matches?

In regards to Hurt Business, don't think so since later in the show they beat up Titus O'Neil simply because he requested to join their group and not because he did anything heelish towards them.

Yeah Elias is a heel again but the way it happened was one of the dumbest ways possible. Elias beat up Hardy the week before but claims it was a red hair guy who caused his car accident. Instead of realizing Hardy doesn't have red hair, he still thinks it was Hardy who attacked him and instead of Hardy telling him this fact, Hardy decided to just sneak attack hm during the concert as revenge.

I think the thing is that the remaining party gets "snowed" on the idea that they're their own person with their own career, which SHOULD be true. There shouldn't be any problem whatsoever if Lana likes where she is and Rusev doesn't. But, again, it is almost as if those in authority just can't help themselves on being petty. Even if they aren't intentionally, it sure looks the part.
