What is that whole sunset flip like move while mounted on their back that Darby did called? I am having a brain fart. Regardless I just wanted to say I really hate that spot and wish he wouldn't do it. It's one of the fakest looking moves in existence.

Other than that minor complaint though, GREAT MATCH. Good showing by Garcia.

Grinds my gears that AEW never goes over time. This is especially annoying because it is going right into their own fucking count down show.
Which clashes with what they're saying about matches finishing during picture & picture. |

Fun show this week.
If I had to guess, this is probably what Rampage will be more like for shows from now on than the crazy jam packed action & stuff the first 3 shows had. The 4-man booth needs to be ditched though even if its only mostly being done until Mark Henry gets more comfortable in his new commentary role and as some insurance for booth quality. 4 weeks in and it still feels too forced or not gelling well unlike AEW's other shows. |

Don Callis's reaction when Schiavone told him about the cage match a couple of weeks ago is very funny to me... he's the best

Paul Wight started off really rough on commentary but he's gotten somewhat better since then because he got more comfortable & Tony Schiavone's laid back style on Dark Elevation being a good way to ease someone new in the booth. |

Why did they book a handicap match? They just brought in Jamie hayter, and they book her like a jobber.

Wonder how the new Bleacher Report will handle the PPV. Not sure why BR Live was retired, but I like that you can replay old events you bought previously now whenever you want.
I am in for Daniel Bryan, so AEW better not fuck around and wait until the New York show. |

That's fine, but the fact that they had a two on one and didn't beat the ever living shit out of statlander makes them look like scrubs.

Great little show tonight. An hour with that much wrestling content is kind of refreshing.
Love Miro, hated him in WWE. Love Eddie Kingston, rapidly becoming a favourite of mine tbh. He’s so good on the mic. I wasn’t digging Daniel Garcia last week but he’s growing on me as well. Last week he had some Xpac heat with me this week I was more into him as a heel. I thought Punks commentary was interesting and seemed to say him and Garcia next… I don’t mind it. Something about AEW just feels more believable and it’s weird because the ring work is often a lot less polished then WWE but the wrestlers just seem more legit for some reason, more passionate, more into it. It’s kind of intangible but there for me. |

ring work might be better in sports entertainment since it's the same peeps sports entertaining match each other week after week.

I don’t even know if I would call WWE ring work better, watching a WWE match I barely look up from my phone even though it’s arguably smoother it feels very familiar and I know what’s gonna happen next. AEW matches feel a bit less predictable, a bit less structured.

You don't always get such a clear story from AEW matches. But generally speaking AEW matches are much more fun and engaging. I guess what I'm saying is that when WWE is great is hard to beat it. But it's so often not great and meaningless. My issue with the structure or lack there of in AEW matches is the over abuse of certain moves. Half the roster uses a superkick in every match, the tope suicida or similar moves, the group of guys waiting on the outside to catch, the Code Red and Canadian Destroyer are all so over used. Half of those moves belong to The Young Bucks and the other half to The Lucha Bro's. I wish there was that common respect for guys in AEW to not use other guys spots. It's diminishes near falls in later matches. Really it's about The Bucks for me. The Bucks are pushed as the top team because they are the top team. I know not everyone loves them but they are the top team. The thing that makes them special is their insane move set and creativity. So when they are near the top of the card or the main event and you've already seen half their move set used by the undercard, it's complete bullshit. I'm waiting for the Mark Henry/Paul Wight/Bill Gunn weight in agenting to take affect to where AEW starts limiting specific trademark moves for certain wrestlers. For my money the only people doing superkicks on a regular basis should be The Lucha Bros and The Bucks. Everyone else should figure out something else. |

Loved cm punks first promo and debut.
The second was okay, bordering on good…but these head to head with Darby doesn’t make sense. Darby should have shoved punk for getting involved in his business…that would build some heat , not these head butting stare downs. Sting should have had to separate them . Punks next promo should have been “I came here and hand picked you because you are good and talented..but now I see you that you have a lot of growing up to do…what I’m going to do to you on Sunday..well let’s call it tough love…let’s call it a lesson…let’s call it clobbering time” |

I like Malakai Black's theme.... pretty good..... his entrance one of the most "elaborate" from a production standpoint, but somehow still doesn't feel as "good" and "big time" as even his botched WWE main roster entrances.... just based on production values and quality.
