Nah. Only played Breath of the Wild for maybe 20 minutes and was "bummed" that they turned Zelda into an overcomplicated "modern type" game....

I'm a way bigger fan of the traditional style of zelda where you beat dungeons in order and use the items you acquire to progress thru areas you couldn't before, I liked breath of the wild a lot but I don't love open world games, and when diaper babies complained that all zelda games are the same after skyward sword (they arent) I got kinda soured. I put probably 200 hours intro breath of the wild so not saying I didn't like it, I just got bored of it after a while, defeating the same Lynel enemy a bunch of times. I'm sure I'll get this game at some point but I just don't really care right now, I'm playing another game that's taking up my time

Im going to play this and pretty soon. I'd prefer a traditional dungeon -> field -> dungeon game though. Hell id rather have the wiiu WW/TP ported to the switch.

I lied. Gamestop running a promo where you can get the game for cheap if you trade in 2 games from a pretty long list. Traded in Octopath 1 and Last of Us Remastered. Then the rewards card made the trades worth more and I had a monthly 5 dollar off to use. In the end I paid 12 bucks after tax. How could I not?

Well....my switch loses connection to the dock after 30 seconds in this game. Other games no sweat, just this one bugs out.

Oh well, guess I don't feel bad about bootlegging it for the PC since I did buy it.

I havent seen any reports about that but the game uses a a chip thats only ever been used in splatoon 3 and wii sports for the switch... whatever they titled it... i bet it has something to do with it

Yea I thought it was the wired controller I bought because my kid lost the pro controller and we cant find it. But nope, wasn't that. Did it with Joycons on the grip thing too. Then I thought maybe the dock was bad, but I have 2 and they both replicate the error. Same with multiple HDMI cords and power sources. Try other games and it works perfectly fine. But put ToTK in there docked and I get 30 seconds max before its black screened. And its still connected to the dock too because it's still charging, you still get sound, controller thats plugged in to dock still functions. Just no video signal. Mad lame.

Runs like a champ with ease on Yuzu though. Way better than Xenoblade 2/3 and SMTV did.

Traded in Smash Ultimate and the New Mario Rabbids; haven't played Smash in years and Mario/Rabbids will quickly be only worth around $20.

Ended up getting the game for under $7.

It's deals like this that make it clear as day why Gamestop always ends up struggling. Giving us brand new games for 10 dollars because we gave them 2 old games they'll probably never sell lol

Oh our sales guy pitched it HARD. Said he insisted on everyone buying it and he was adamant. Had to tell him no on like 7 consecutive pitches especially when most of them were outright lies he was telling me because he must have thought I was an idiot.

I think it adds another year on the standard warranty in case the game gets damaged, not sure how much it cost but ripoff either way.
