Rate the Game: Week 133
What's up, y'all. I know that technically last week's poll doesn't close until a few more hours but I figure I should try to get this back on schedule after a disastrous bit of timing. If there are any last minute votes for X-Men within the time frame, I'll be sure to note them and make the proper edits to the leaderboard. As it stands, however, X-Men finds itself doing a bit better than most of our other outings in the past few weeks. Let's have a look....






Right, so with a 3.6 overall score, it gets sandwiched between some pretty good company in StarFox and Resident Evil. Nothing to sneeze at, but still not enough to become legendary in our ranks.

Nevertheless, we trudge on to see what else is in store for the leaderboard. Cue the bowl....




Ta-da! Well, this week we're not out of the arcades...unless you had a Saturn or something and got to handle it at home. It's another one of Sega's big properties, this time in the realm of high adrenaline racing action. It's Daytona USA! Does this title have enough under the hood to speed past the competition to the top? It's time for the rating and the talking and all the good shit that we do! Until next week!



No matter what may happen to me, just remember Lzzy Hale gave me the bedroom eyes...

Voted "Haven't Played It" but its more like with the last round with the X-Man arcade game where I probably played it a couple times at most in arcades and that's it for personal experience.

Not really fond of arcade style racers that have the countdown clock that forces you to reach a checkpoint or beat a lap in a certain amount of time or else you auto-forfeit the race.

I had always pegged this game as one of the titles that was going to help make the Saturn a major player upon its release. Of course, there were all the issues that made that idea kaput.
