Yeah he tried to straight square up with Butterbean. Really shouldn't have done that considering the size difference and the notorious punching power of Bean. He was doomed from the start.

There is no way Vince gave him a $5 million deal in 1998. I am sure Cornette was referring to potential revenue, but that's not really the same as losing the money.

Just watched them all, the Moolah one is really weird, spent the whole episode saying how bad she was, then in the last 2 minutes you got 6 girls saying nothing happened then a girl who spent the whole time saying how bad she was end the episode saying Moolah was great and if you say Moolah was a pimp it means she was a prostitute.

The B4A ended in Aug 1998. The Sept PPV was Austin vs Kane vs Taker for the title and a number 1 contender 3 way cage match between Shamrock vs Rock vs Mankind . You could have put Williams fresh off a B4A win into the 3 way and make it a 4 way(scrap the cage match). Have Williams win the match and face Austin at the Oct PPV Judgement Day ending in some sort of screwy finish causing the title to be held up till the tournament at SS

Snuka's wife spent the whole episode deflecting or dancing around making any definitive statements, the ex cop looked shadier than a pawn shop cashier and Sam Fatu cheerfully accidentally drops a huge clanger that casts even greater doubt on Snuka.

Maybe the best put together episode since Brody or the Von Erichs because it effectively puts it all on a platter for you. Reading about these things makes it hard to form an accurate image, these episodes give you a good view.

New Jack still the funniest though, likely always will be.

The Snuka story is just so fucked. Benoit did what he did, but he killed himself and would have been caught if he stayed alive. Some semblance of justice was served. Or at least the loop was closed, so to speak.

But Snuka got to just go and wrestle and do a bunch of crack until he died. No justice.

Snuka was arguably the hottest wrestler in the world in a feud that was the hottest feud in the history of the company next to maybe Bruno vs Larry. Vince would have emptied his pockets.

But he didn't really have to. The town made a lot of money off Vince and his wrestlers over the years. It was in both parties best interest to sweep this under the rug
