Gearbox gotta brainstorming new ideas. I know Battleborn didn't work out like it should thanks to the juggernaut that's Overwatch. But, you can't survive on Borderlands and Homeworld forever.

Yeah Duke Nukem Forever was easily THE worst purchase of a game that I have ever made. There's actually an achievement/trophy in the game for picking up a piece of waste out of a toilet with his bare hands that pretty appropriately sums up just how awful it is.

Worst of all I actually sprung for the Balls of Steel edition...whoops.

New King of Fighters plays like a dream, but I'd hold off on buying it if you don't have people to play with locally, cause the netcode is shit.

Honestly, the way they've done the releases has been perfect by giving 5 hours of content a month, plus elusive targets. Glad Season 2 is going to continue to be another year of episodic content.

Battlefield 1 feels like a cross between Battlefield 4 and Battlefront. It's more accessible than BF4, but has enough depth to the gameplay where it's still challenging. They found a really good balance here.

On that note, I really hope battlefront adopts this gameplay.

1) According to a former employee at Playstation San Diego, the studio was recently hit with a wave of layoffs although at the moment it is not known if the studio itself will be getting shut down. The studio itself is known for being the developer of Sony's MLB: The Show series.
