He sucked way worse in the mid 90's fighting El Gigante, Kamala, Bundy and all that shower of shit.

Undertaker matches were never ever great wrestling matches though. They just had loads of cool shit in them, gimmicks galore.
His entire career was a hot shot. |

It's the reason why he was so pumped to work with Mankind when he debuted. He finally had a feud with someone who could work. Who was the best worker he feuded with prior? Yokozuna? |

That was my point though.
His in ring work has pretty much always been hampered by injuries or opponents or his age. It doesn't matter because people always loved him but I don't remember too many worse matches than in his 1993-95 stint. |

If Mick Foley hadn't thrown himself off and through that HIAC cage the match would have been terrible because of Taker's gammy foot.
His best matches revolve around people killing themselves to get him over. Bundy, Kamala and El Gigante couldn't do that. Taker's in ring work was good but not great in retrospect. He just had the best gimmick of all time and a fantastic look. That's today's HOT TAKEr |

Did he ever do the Last Ride after he dropped the American Badass gimmick?

I remember when he first started doing it I thought "Why the fuck wasn't this always his finish?!"
He would have been undisputed king of the powerbomb forever. Probably would have crippled a few guys on those old rings though. |

Just watched a video where he did it to CM Punk so he definitely did
Never a fan of the Last Ride and a Powerbomb is my second favourite finisher behind Clothesline From Hell Hated how he grabbed his opponents trunks. Looked weird. Plus if Gorilla Monsoon were on commentary, he'd call for an immediate disqualification for holding the rights |

Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse Ventura called for disqualification ten times a match anyway though

Braden Walker. Look at that man, so nice and friendly. They should have had him be a gimmick where he lives up to his name and just walks around. His catchphrase/gimmick would be "Hey! I'm walking here!" and you would have constant segments where Braden is power walking in the back and gets interrupted by others, including his fans. "Where is Braden walking to?" would be a big part of the gimmick. In the ring, he would constantly lose matches by walking out of the ring and continuing to walk and getting counted out. |

Norton and Vader's powerbombs make the last ride look like a fun little romp.

Gorilla Monsoon was somehow one of the best and worst commentators of all time.

I agree with that 100%.
He's so out of place on those early Raw's. It's insane that he was calling matches in 98. He's a lot better in House Shows I find. Loved the pairing of Gorilla and Lord Al |

It's funny because in a suit behind a desk he just looks like a regular guy.
He was a mountain upright though. And yes agreed on him being brilliantly bad. |

It was either Amy Weber or Joy Giovanni who quit soon after saying "I'm sick of this shit!" lol

I've heard he didn't technically shit in her bag but poured lotion or something in it. I'm guessing if that's true then you have a telephone situation.

I think he also wanted (forced?) people to shake his hand after sticking it down his pants and dropped the N-bomb on twitch.
