While I don't disagree with you, when has a lack of speaking ability ever been a requirement for putting someone in the main event? There are people who have mained plenty who are as bad or worse on the stick and don't have half the in ring ability Shelton does.

Yeah he did a good job but from what I heard he wasn't very well received by the locker room because of his attitude and ego. Just going by their own history, it would not. Once the championships are unified there is only one, even with 2 titles. I think more likely they will do some lazy booking where when Roman loses, he will only lose the WWE Title, but still be Universal Champion.

They should just unify the titles and only keep one around after. The value of all the belts has diminished greatly over the years, I mean all the mid card belts mean absolutely nothing now and even the world title gets passed around like a hooker so it's really not what it used to be
