Started watching wrestling in spring 1998, the Wolfpac had just formed and I fucked heavy with them. But Goldberg was my #1 dude with DDP right behind him. Seeing those two face off at Halloween Havoc was great for 9 year old me, and I was sad when Nash beat Goldberg lol

But even I was confused when the Woifpack and nWo Hollywood randomly unified again and they tried to make it sound like the entire thing was planned from the very start.

The theme tune, the head shake, the sweet moveset, the chest protector...

He was, for one brief fleeting moment, the greatest entertainment I have ever seen in wrestling.
I absolutely adored him and I think he should have stayed in WWE forever.

I opted for him because no matter how much I watch and learn about wrestling now, I will never be as entertained by the whole package of one wrestler as I was then with D-Lo Brown.

It's the childhood factor, I watched more wrestling in "The Attitude Era" than I had before or have since and for some reason he was always involved in something great. D-Lo Vs Jeff Jarrett was a true feast for the eyes any time it went down.

As an adult I just can't vote The Rock even though he was my idol as a kid because rewatch his matches is often quite painful because of his weak sauce offense.

For me number one is easy, it's Sting. After that it's a toss up between Stone Cold, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, and JBL. If I had to pick it'd be Stone Cold Steve Austin just because I've met him.

Is it just me or is Jimmy Uso way better than Jey Uso? And I hate admitting that, because I hate the name "Jimmy."

Also, are both "Jimmy" and "Jey" supposed to be derivative of "James?" They should turn heel and become one wrestler named "James Reigns." They swap out and constantly help each other get a leg-up in singles competition.

In FCW they were "Jules and Jim," which was presumably a reference to the Truffaut film.

Okay, those are the two gimmicks I want to see now:

* James C. Reigns -- film aficionado, who uses his twin to win matches and launch his singles identity.

* Mickey Uso -- the other Uso singles gimmick with a team of cheerleaders who come out and dance for him, eventually bringing in The Spirit Squad to be his lackeys.

Each gets ahead by helping the other by dressing up as their gimmick. They can also revive The Hurricane/S.H.I.T. gimmicks as a way to still be in tag team competition without leaving their singles career behind.

Now as a fully grown man I look back and I think I could pick any of them pretty happily. I have to say that for replay value nobody is beating Flair, Bret or Mankind very easily. They are pretty much untouchable with that regard.

Bret Hart just did everything so realistically.
During the infamous Austin match there are moments where he looks like he's actually trying to maim him. But then you go back and watch any other match and it's almost always the same level of insane intensity, unless he's wrestling another face. He put in some serious mean mugging for a beloved hero.

That's refined artistry in a very niche craft.
You have to admire that.
