Just skimmed this topic, ROFL@RP thinking that a dead ball unsportsman like conduct penalty on the Chargers would have made a difference, it would be a 2 and a half yard penalty seeing how the Colts couldn't punch it in from the 5 yard line.

God, nothing like a game like that. Heart pounding, filled with bad thoughts that Romo would throw a TD at the last possible second...then R.W. McQuarters picks it off.
Already looking forward to next week's game. Gonna be fucking fun...I think Favre will have a field day against the secondary if they can't get Ross and/or Madison back. At the very least, at least if anyone should know the scouting report on Ryan Grant, it should be the Giants. Soooooo fucking glad we knocked the Cowboys off. Like honestly, obv. I'd love to make it to the Super Bowl and win it...but that win felt like a Super Bowl in and of itself for the Giants and I'm definitely gonna be satisfied on the whole if the year ends next week. |

He started crying and told the media that if they put this loss on Romo's shoulders it's unfair, explaining how he has been through that shit and it's unfair. Also, he asked for the loss to be placed on the whole team, and I don't know, it just shows how much he cares about playing the sport of football, I like the guy. I also read his book and it was a good read.

I feel like the Cowboys will be the Colts NFC style. Losing playoff games then win 1 superbowl (hopefully next year), then start losing home playoff games again lol.

As a Bostonian and a lifelong Patriots fan, it's obvious who I think and want to win the superbowl. But I'm also really pulling for the Packers. I'm glad Dallas is gone, because now Green Bay can have homefield. Plus, as a Bostonian I fuckin hate NY teams. Hopefully Favre and the Pack clobber them in Lambeau.
Then, providing all goes well in both games, I can enjoy a Patriots/Packers superbowl build and game. Brady-Favre will be cool. Green Bays just far cooler than The Giants and Eli the hillbillie buttfuck Manning. But sorry Cooler Tom Schuler, I'm gonna have to stop being in your corner eventually. But I'd be much more honored to play/god forbid lose to the Packers than anyone else. |

I also look at it this way, we all know the Patriots (if they get there) can and probably will beat the packers.
We've beaten The Colts, The Cowboys, The Jaguars, The Chargers already and hopefully again, The Giants, The Steelers. But we haven't beaten the Packers. Another reason I want them in the superbowl is so we can beat them and complete the list of teams to beat that we beat. Not that it really matters anyways, but that'd be kind of fufilling to have offed every semi-decent team in the NFL. Especially seeing as the 17-0 Dolphins beat all under 500 teams. Patriots had a hard ass schedule really, they played all the contenders in regular season besides the Pack. Plus The Pats longtime fans like me know we owe the Packers an asskicking from 11 years ago. Last edited by Jeritron; 01-13-2008 at 09:51 PM. |

Well I hope so, and honestly think so, but I don't like to talk a big game about my home team in this situation because...theres not really a need to. It is what it is.
They're 2 wins away from being the best football team of all time, so I can hold off for a bit. |

You know, I hate to bring up the past since it's irrelevant and kinda greedy...but....The Pats really handed Indy that superbowl last year and a spot in the AFC championship game to Denver the year before. They should be going for their 6th (5th in a row), not their 4th.
Just imagine they had Moss and/or Welker before this year. How many super bowl rings do you people think Brady will retire with? I don't even want to begin to imagine what its gonna be like when he has to retire. |

I say Brady will end up with 5 Superbowl Rings. Several teams are very talented and should get win a Superbowl in the upcoming years (Colts, Chargers, Packers who are the youngest team in the league, Cowboys, Bengals if they can get a defense, Steelers etc.)

I say the most impressive thing about NE this season in their 17-0 start thus far is besides Green Bay they have defeated every top team in the NFL. (Dallas, Pitt, Jax, SD, Indy, NYG)

The Patriots are obviously the best team in the league this year, and are certainly in the running for some all-time honors. I definitely wouldn't have us as the favorite against them, but we'd have a shot and it'd make a great story either way. |

Too many penalties in Dallas.
Young team so its all good. Next year will be better. Also, Giants wont last next week so as long as they get defeated, I dont care if the Pats win the Super Bowl. |

I don't really mind who wins the Superbowl out of all of the remaining teams just as long as it isn't the gay ass Giants.

That hit on Reggie Wayne was really the play of the Chargers/Colts game.
Pretty sweet hit. |
